I'm not one to leave reviews, but after my experience yesterday I feel it is a must and worth…read morereading. Firestone in Selma is a JOKE. Normally I go to the enterprise location on Rucker Blvd (100/10 service btw), but I was out of town visiting someone in Monroeville for about a week so I decided to go here so I could get my issue over with. This location was an hour drive. I wish now I would have read the google reviews of this place first and should've waited! I took my car in on May 7th approximately around 10-11am. Stood at the counter for at LEAST 30 minutes before I was even greeted. One advisor was with a customer (understandable) the other was at the other counter sitting on his phone the entire time. He didn't acknowledge us at all. We decided to wait until the other advisor finished with his customer so we sat in the waiting area in the main lobby. ONE HOUR we sat there before I had to finally walk up and TELL HIM what we were there for. Mind you this same advisor saw us first walk in the door and sit so he knew we were waiting to be seen. I tell him I need an A/C diagnostic done. He said "ok, have a seat" so we sit and wait. He didnt ask for my key, what car i drove, nothing. TWO HOURS LATER I then proceed back to the counter and ask what the wait time is, he proceeds to tell me they were about to "pull it into the shop" so we sit and wait ANOTHER HOUR. My car is still sitting the same place we parked it. I finally ask if we can leave the car there and come back later because we had been waiting well over 3 hours at this point, but he had already took my key from me. I should've asked for it back and left right then and there. He says we can leave it and he'll call when it's ready. We left, had lunch, tried to kill whatever time we could with thrift stores, Walmart, etc. 4 HOURS goes by. I had already called twice in this time frame to ask for an update and he said they were "working on it". Finally at 4:30PM I call again and he says it'll be "just a few more mins so we leave town and drive back to Firestone. I immediately check in at the desk and tell him I'm back and ready to pick up my car. The guy says he'll let the mechanic know. Again, another hour goes by. It's 5:30 or so, we sit until 6 and I see the mechanic slowly start to close up the shop. So I assume my car is either done or almost done. Finally at 6:30 I ask the guy for yet another update and he walks me out to the shop and proceeds to tell me I literally CAN'T drive home because I have an oil leak and that it's "too dangerous to drive" I did know about the oil leak, but it was nowhere near to the severity they were making it sound. The guy refused to give me my keys and said they wanted to keep it overnight to diagnose the oil leak because they wouldn't be able to fix my AC until the oil leak was fixed. THANKFULLY, I had someone follow me to Firestone to begin with so I had a ride home since we were over an hour away. I did inform him I was not from the area and I was needing my car before Friday evening to head back home (Elba). Fast forward to today (may 8 I have called once at 7am, the same guy in the lobby said the mechanic hasn't pulled my car into the bay yet to start working on it (but it was already in the bay when you closed last night, now it isn't?) I called again around 11, he said he had just got a "list" of repairs needed, and would call back in a "few minutes" with a quote. It is now 2:30 and I have yet to hear anything back. I'm beyond furious, and stressed and honestly over this location and every employee there. I was told when I dropped my car off last night they would have my AC and oil leak fixed by the end of day today ('may 8) and I haven't even gotten told a quote for the repairs in the first place or if/when I can even get my car back. I have never heard of someone having a car from 10am-6pm for a AC DIAGNOSTIC just to later find out at CLOSING I could've easily dropped my car off and went home or who knows what else instead of sitting here being ignored and given the run around by employees for SEVEN HOURS! Once I get my car (whenever this is) I will NEVER return to this location! I have also let the owner know my experience as well.

Ten minutes later, I pull up to the store STILL ON HOLD. I look around and they're all either working out making a good show of it. One dude comes out of the back to all can he hep me. I tell him I'm still on hold from when I called. He appears baffled then says, he doesn't know who did it. I ask him the warrior and he said an hour and a half. -_- Bruh. Selma is a dump...avoid it.

They gave me a car to drive. Did not hear anything all day Monday. Called Tuesday at lunch to check and see, they were on the phone with the manufactures, would call me back. When they did they said it was in the bottom of the engine and would cost more than the car was worth because of the mileage. They said I needed to get a new car and they would work with me. When trying to find out how much would be allowed on mine they said it was worth nothing. Went and picked it up and was charged 98.00. Took it somewhere else. They called and said less than 500 to fix. Please watch out if you go there. I thank the lord for someone helping me with this because The were taking advantage of a Single 50 something female. Thank you Lord.

They didn't even reset my oil meter, and got upset because I told them no one reset it after they have done the service. I paid her 82 dollars up front in cash and said I have to get the 89 cents out of my change box in my car instead of giving me the keys she told me that my car is unlock like really where am I gone really go when I just paid you all the money up front but some change. An the last time I visited they wrote my credit card number down on some paper WTF I don't trust that shit that's really unprofessional. I will never go to them again if I have to drive to the next city over Prattville or montgomery I will be going to them instead. Just pathetic. Also when I got to where I was going why in the hell was my car smoking I had to have my grandfather to look at my car. This is a damn shame I pay them for service and the wanna do a shitty job. Never again!!!
