We have gone to this theater numerous times. It is our "go to"for movies. We like the location and the amazingly comfortable chairs, yesssssss..... Although, they are SO comfortable that I have fallen asleep more than once before in them. Nothing that a loving swat and "mad dog" glare from my girlfriend won't cure instantly though, hahaha! It is clean and nice here though. We like it. Different screen size options are available as well. I also like that you can purchase the seats o line before you go as well. Not sure what happened to this place but it seems kind of rundown and not taken care of. They were out of many menu items, limiting options for food. No blue icees, no pretzel bites, etc. The soda machines were nearly all "out of order" and the Dr Pepper just came out clear. There were multiple employees behind the food kiosk, but most were just jaw-jacking with each other. Not a very welcoming place. The theaters themselves were fine but I gotta be honest, there were a LOT of issues between walking through the door and getting to the actual theater screen. read more

Went to see the 40th anniversary screening of The Muppet Movie with a friend and his daughter. 12:30 screening, only one today. Movie started just after 12:40. Except it didn't start from the beginning - it started over ten minutes in, completely skipping Rainbow Connection, the song that's really the point of the film and a major reason to see it. Theater management claimed there was nothing they could do, and that the film was operated remotely. (just to indicate the level of service we're talking about... The manager on duty was way more interested in making excuses than apologies, and when I asked for the district manager's name, I was told "we don't have district managers. We have regional managers.") Saw a movie at a Marcus in Milwaukee a couple days ago - that experience was fine... But I'm glad I don't live here. A movie theater that has no ability to control its own projection, especially when the movie is digital and there's no physical print, is a piss poor business model. I was recently watching a movie in one of the theaters when I noticed that my chairs recliner was broken. I was very disappointed because I paid for dream loungers and I couldn't recline. This was in theater 4, seat H14. They have very good service but regular check ups of the workings of the chair would be appreciated. read more

I took my kiddos to the moves tonight. I am usually a pretty nonchalant person but after spending almost 100$ it was a pretty bad experience. First off I was told the wrong theater number, no biggie but when I walked up to ask if we happen to be in the wrong theater the employee acted as though I inconvenienced them and talked to me not so friendly and then talked about me as I walked alway. The employees cared more about talking than doing what they were being paid for and seemed upset or would not stop conversation when people would come to the counter. There was nothing but teenagers that worked there.( don't get me wrong this is awesome!!) But there were not adults management and the kids were more interested in talking and could have used some guidance as all kids do. I also was not okay with going to order food and they were up there using profanity and at lest 3 of them made eye contact with me and continued to talk. No smiles, no manners to the point my 6 year old point out the lack of customer service and asked me if they hate their jobs. I am just disappointed I don't mind spending the money but this place was not worth it and I'll just start waiting till things are released on streaming channels. It just sucks cuz my kids love the excitement of the theater. Also I spent 30 dollars on 2 sodas that were water basically and when I told them no one move the soda was still out when we left 2 hr later, popcorn that was definitely old, pretzels that were hard and the cheese was all chunky, 3 hot dogs with hard buns. I hope that do better, I feel it would all be fix if they had more active management. But keep up the good work on giving our teens a place to work!! read more

This place looks fantastic since renovating recently. The new seats that recline back are comfortable and roomy. The bathrooms were really clean and I like that they installed better faucets. I like that they do the $5 Tuesdays at this location and the free popcorn with the magical rewards program. I only wish they were not so expensive to come to more regularly as I love to see films in the theater. read more

Just went to the avatar in 3D and i can say I haven't been to a movie that good in years. Truly a top tier experience but i came to talk about the damn railing‍ i had to sit straight up so I could see the whole screen i can't imagine being short cause i slouched down to my wifes height and u can see tv under the bar and above and that takes away from the experience for me and her I recommend lowering them, removing them, or replace them with plexi glass or something but other then that the movie was amazing 10/10 going back read more

The theatre is great! Most of the movies though are PG-13. But that's not what I am concerned about. The fact they had overpriced candy, a Jolly Rancher gummies candy was only $3.75 instead of $4.50! Nothing special, though it is worth nothing that they've upgraded 2 (or 3?) of their theaters to be "Super Screen" theaters with leather recliners. I've been going to this theater for years, so that was a welcome upgrade. I agree with another reviewer that the sound is very loud-I get that you want to be able to experience the movie, but I've been to multiple movie there where the sound gets a bit overwhelming. Food is okay, though they've certainly expanded the menu. Popcorn is stale more often than not, which is disappointing when you're craving good movie theater popcorn. I've been going to Bay Park Cinema for years. They have made some recent changes which make it simpler and faster to buy tickets, even letting you choose the seats in advance. Also, I do like the new seats which are roomier and more comfy. I saw "Split" yesterday and since it was not very busy, I was happy to not stand in line for refreshments and I got a great seat. One thing I find an issue every time I go here is that it's cold inside, Winter or Summer, I always have to wear a sweater, or, like yesterday, I had to use my coat as a blanket. Brrr... Overall, it's a great location, lots of parking, though when it's busy, you may have to walk a bit further, but that works off the popcorn. I've gone here alone and always feel safe. I have also taken my young Grandchildren and they love it too. read more

Tickets are very expensive. Popcorn cost was just as bad. When we walked in, I couldn't smell newly popped popcorn. While eating it, it tasted old. I probably shouldn't have bought it. It was a slow night, so maybe that's why they didn't make new popcorn. The staff was very nice, but when I wanted to add my total to my rewards card the girl told me she couldn't because she had just completed the sale. I'm sure there is a way they could have added it or at least put up signage or ask customers for their card at check out to present it before you even order. Many other customer don't know how to behave in public. Awful jerks belching in the theater? Nasty! Kids coughing deep chesty coughs? Ugh. Keep the sick kids at home. I wish they had the seats socially distanced just because I realized tonight that people are gross and I don't want to sit by them. 3.5 stars for Bay Park Cinemas. My husband and I went to see "Moonrise Kingdom" on a random Monday night, while we were in GB for some 'official business.' This movie theater is set up a little different than ones I'm used to. It was almost maze-like, and trying to find our theater (although not challenging) was kind of a pain in the ass. Very nice staff. Clean theater and clean bathrooms. The theater we watched the movie in smelled like feet, though - kind of odd. Prices were typical of current movie theaters - $19.00 for two tickets, $4.50 for a "small" soda. If we are in town again, and if there's something playing we want to see, I would consider going to see another movie here. read more

I'm not sure what is going at this Theater, but the last two times my family and I have been here it has physically smelled. It smells as if they have a plumbing issue in the theater itself. On top of that when my kids and I got to our seats there was popcorn and butter all over them from the previous show. I tried to find an employee to clean them, but they were all to busy to be bothered. I ended up having to get a paper towel from the bathroom to clean them myself. I am a big believer is getting what you pay for, no matter what it comes to. And you have to know that I mean for both good and bad, but just because it was a bad movie, doesn't mean you had bad service. The managers and employees try really hard to do their job, even given the obstacles that you know that they must face every single day. I know this because I saw Pet Sametary and hated it. Marcus is a horrible theatre company. I think the only reason they're still in business is because they've monopolized this area. They have the WORST customer service and every time I have gone the theatre is disgusting! The last time I went I went to see it "IT" with a group of friends for a birthday and there were two people talking very loudly thru the ENTIRE movie. There were multiple times throughout the movie that people asked them to quiet down and after each time they just got louder. At one point my boyfriend went out to the lobby to try to find an usher but couldn't find anyone. After the show I submitted a complaint thru the company website and have yet to receive any kind of reply. But this isn't the first time we've had a bad experience at Marcus. So I'm not surprised. read more

This theater isn't that bad it is actually a good place to watch a new movie. My complaints only issue is that when I ask for extra butter on my popcorn I'd like it lol.. but thats the "plump" person in me.. Movie quality has never been an issue for me, but the sound has been an issue.. they could turn it down just a little bit. I am not that old and I am partially deaf in one ear so when I say it is quite loud it was. They don't give you a children's price for a rated R movie which was quite annoying in my opinion the age of the person didn't change so I am not sure why we weren't able to get that price regardless. And as other posts state some people like to have friends or other co workers hang around and talk to them while they are suppose to be working, this is annoying when you are trying to get your tickets. Not to many of them have a smile on their faces either. Another fact I agree with. I will go back no issues at this point. read more

The theatre itself is great, the staff is wonderful. My frustration stems from the online ordering system and app. I have began to notice that only certain seats are available to pre-order online. Last week, I picked the seats that were shown to be in the back row and by the aisle. However, when I arrived to the theatre and made my way to my seat, I was surprised to find that my seat was actually in the second row from the back and in the middle of the aisle; not what I had chosen at all. This was disappointing as I chose the seats for a reason. I love coming here every Tuesday because of the five dollar Tuesday events! The manager here was so nice! He allowed me to watch the movie here even though I accidentally reserved a spot at the Oshkosh Cinema lol! He kindly let me reserve a spot here for free because I showed him proof I reserved a spot at the Oshkosh Cinema on my app and thought it was the Bay Park one! He even verified to check the time and everything to make sure I wasn't pulling a fast one which I didn't mind at all. The people that serve the snacks are very helpful and kind! Although there is an issue with pretzel bites over sitting too long in the heat because I buy pretzel bites for my daughter and they have to be soft because of her teeth. All in all love this place! The theater is clean and nice enough. I would say it is pretty average, but they are a little behind on technology...I would not recommend this theater to anyone deaf or hard of hearing. They have the old cup holder bendy screens to read off of, instead of the newer, easier-to-use closed captioned glasses. (The east side has them.) read more

Seats weren't the greatest, staff wasn't the friendliest, and there's no bells or whistles that would make you want to go here instead of any other theater. This theater has made some nice changes since the last time I was there. Some of the theaters have reclining chairs which gives you more space and get a little more comfortable. I was there opening night to see Deadpool and when buying my tickets I got to pick what seats I wanted. This was the first I ever did that. Before entering the theater there was a screen that had the seating chart so you can figure out where to go. Inside the theater, the rows are nicely lit and the seat numbers were obvious to see. There may be less seats but they're definitely improving your theater experience. read more
