They told me they would not be responsible for it. Given the bad after service I would suggest that you buy elsewher.

Originally we planned on getting a plug and play from Costco but thought it'd be wise to check out some local outfits and get some comps and learn about the hot tub world from people in the industry. One thing we learned that was noteworthy is that there isn't a top three brand nationally or globally for hot tubs. (ie Kohler, American standard, moen, etc). another thing I learned is one we went to all other hot tub dealers it wasn't surprising to hear companies bashing each other but no one had a single negative thing to say about wind river. When we got done we were torn between one at Spa Brokers and Wind River, but they were far from equal measures. Back then I only thought there were 3 main differences: 5k price difference, cost of delivery and floating chlorine/bromine thing (that wind river DOESNT use). All the places had a 5 month MINIMUM wait on delivery, placing delivery after thanksgiving (thanks Covid) but we were able to snag the spot someone had vacated in sept with wind river so that was a big plus and decided to go with them! Wind river is manufactured in Colorado and they custom make your tub 2 wks before delivery. How can you be sure?! Great question, we pondered the same....they actually send a video of your tub being born! So since this is not a plug and play electrical wiring is required and you have to furnish your own electrician. We went with one of the two recommendations from the company and we were beyond pleased with him. Noteworthy is that the electric is set up & run after the hot tub is installed. So on the day of the delivery was a lot later than planned, so we were worried about the decision we made. But when they finally arrived until this very day we haven't had a single complaint. They sent a skilled crew that was able to get the hot tub into our backyard. Wind river does an amazing job of prepping you with exactly what you need (wattage, space, etc) before they deliver and they even request photos/videos to ensure a seamless delivery and set up. It worked like a charm! OK so now let's go into our experience with the tub since we got it three months ago. There's really no complaints. It works really well and definitely exceeds expectations. All of our friends have told us that it's better than theirs or their family/friends. We learned that our neighbor has a wind river spa as well, he's had it for 10 years & loves it. The maintainence is as simple as they marketed it. Oh and very little chemicals, after every use you put in a capful per person of chlorine. You can even order the required chemicals from wind river or online! We can't rave enough about our investment in a wind river spa and look forward to many years of tubbing goodness!

My wife and I totally trust them to maintain the hot tub and when ever there is an issue (like a broken lifter or a broken control knob) they are quick to resolve it. Our town home is a 3 bedroom with a loft and rented a lot during the year. Amazingly over the 26 years I have never received a complaint about the hot tub. Highly recommend Highland Pools & spas.

You call the office and nobody returned your phone call. We are paying for the top of the line maintenance plan, but nobody is showing up to clean the hot tub. They supposedly replaced a broken pump, but the pump is still not working. Of course they charged the card despite the work not being finished. Look for another company that is more responsive.

We were so excited about purchasing our hot tub at first but after having it for a while (less than…read morea year), we are realizing that it really wasn't worth it. If you really want a hot tub then go ahead and spend your hard earned money, but please be aware of the following: -ensure that you have a very level and solid surface to place your tub on (hold weight of at least five thousand pounds) - be aware that if your tub isn't properly/PERFECTLY placed (away from windows if you decide to buy an $8k Covana cover) that warranties may be void! Tub also has to be placed at least 5 feet away from other electrical (AC coil, etc.), and have an inspection done. - Electrical hookups (properly done) for the tub can be very expensive; adding to the installation cost (~$2k), and it has to be inspected - Chemicals and maintenance. The "worry free" chemical (Frog) setup they sell you on, isn't so "worry free." You're going to need extra chemicals to keep the correct balance of chemicals in the water! Extra money! - Oh yeah, that pricey Covana cover I mentioned earlier: (Below comment also on Google for awareness) No way would we purchase a Covana cover ever again! Side lip of Covana roof curling up due to poor quality workmanship and blaming it on sun damage?! The salesman at Backyard and Billyards (store we bought from) made no mention of placement of the tub and Covana cover not being close to a window, and Covana won't honor the warranty on their overpriced piece of crap because there's a window five feet away from the cover/tub! They said they wouldn't cover it under warranty because the sun reflected off the window. That's a sign of a WEAK product! We've had it less than a year and they won't replace the crappy plastic roof that melts in the sun. Anyone contemplating spending $8 grand to buy this POS Covana cover is better off saving their money and going with the regular manual folding cover, then putting a gazebo or wooden frame structure over your tub instead! As for B and B...they're ok for the most part, but almost every time I have had to call them in regards to service or warranty claim status to get any information as to what's happening. Seems like they don't take it upon themselves to keep you informed (call or email) of when you will get your problem solved with the expensive items you pay for! I've left emails and voicemails that have not been returned by them; I've always had to keep calling them. B&B did tell me that they constantly have problems getting Covana to cover stuff under warranty; but B&B still has no issues in selling their product?? If you're wise, don't buy a Covana product.
