He checked over my washer and said it was broken and with the costs of repair being over $1,000, it would be best to purchase a new washer one, to which I agreed. I requested his assistance in making the purchase. He agreed and said he'd stop by Home depot to see what they had in stock and phone me. In the meantime, my cleaning lady stopped by and was going to do my laundry, but I told her the washer was broken. She replied "nonsense." The she went over to the washer and started it right off. Laughingly she said yo pull the on/off button, you don't push it. So, my washer was in fact fine. It wasn't broken, and I didn't need a new one like Nazar said. And he never did phone me back like he said he would. However, he was polite and only charged me $35.00 for his house call.

He diagnosed both issues and explained it thoroughly. He left to the supplier and can back promptly and fixed both appliances. I had an issue with the refrigerator and they came back the next morning no questions asked. It turned out nothing was wrong, it just took time for the refrigerator to cool off as it had been opened for a long time the day before to allow the ice to thaw. I'd read about them on another website and we decided to stop by and check them out. We met with one of the guys there. He told us about 2 stoves he had in their warehouse which would match our newer stainless and black appliances. We decided to measure our old one first and come back. We came back the next week and went to look at what they had in their nearby warehouse. We selected one of them. We went back to the main office, they prepared the paperwork and we paid. The cost was quite reasonable. On the day they were to deliver our stove -- in the morning -- it became a mess of problems. They couldn't come when we needed them to be there, etc etc. They finally showed up in the afternoon. Removed our old stove and delivers a new one. As they were leaving, I realized it was not the brand stove I'd selected. After much calling -- on my part -- crying and begging, they finally delivered the correct stove the next day late morning. The stove itself is fine. Works perfectly and looks great in our kitchen. If the delivery experience had been better, they would have received four stars...

Mardey's sent a highly recommended repair person Lucas to my house to check on my electric range…read more My oven fan was making a noise, but still worked and I wanted to be proactive and have it looked at. Lucas looked at the range and confirmed it was the fan. Even though I was paying 90 dollars for the house call, they sent me an estimate for 298 to lubricate the fan barring or 398 to replace the fan. That was my option. He would not WD40 the fan as part of the house call since he had the back off the stove anyways nor did he do any other service. I sent him on his way, pulled out the stove, took off the back, sprayed WD40 on the fan motor and have not heard the sound since. If it was not for my regular appliance repairman would not work on a Samsung appliance, I would have never call them for a repair. As it is I learned two lessons never use Mardey's for any repairs and do not buy a Samsung appliance.
