They had tons of free samples set up and were able to explain in English which is always nice in this part of Canada. Huge selection of frozen items and I ended up buying a few things. Not a big selection of beers but the usual Canadian ones that you can't find most places around here. The store was very festive and while crowded with Saturday shoppers it never actually felt crowded. Had to buy some random items like tikka masala Pringles and pork and beans because why not. I recommend if you're passing through and want to grab so fun groceries that you don't find everywhere in the US.

You tell them the flavours you like, and they're happy to point out a couple of beers for you. There's also a mystery beer pack where you can choose from three different levels of uniqueness. We've enjoyed all of the mystery beers we've tried so far. They know their stuff! Prices are reasonable and you leave with unique new beers to try. COVID-19 précautions: wear masks and they have really nice quality hand sanitizer. There is always someone by the carts to sanitize them after usage, too. They are a specialty grocery store that has all organic products. They also have a lot of gluten free and dairy free alternatives, but still have some really nice looking locally farmed meat. Their vegetables always look extremely high quality and fresh. They have a lot of products that I've never seen before in a regular market (example: squid ink pasta!) they have a huge selection of coffees that you can measure and grind yourself, as well high quality tea products from local merchants. They have a huge selection of healthy medicine and healthy cleaning products as well. Service is really nice, with cashiers super friendly. There's not too many people on the floor but they're very helpful if you can find them. They actually take the time to look in the back for you if you're looking for something specific. This market has jams, olive oils, soaps, fresh produce, pastries, bread, pre-made/home-made meals and much more. We had planned lunch at Siboire afterwards so our level of excitement was pretty high. Parking: Rock Star parking. Seating: Nice table upstairs- partial window-view. Service: Our server was prompt and professional and spoke the language of the clients. Food: I hade the beef tartar, and the Missus chose a prosciutto and arugula pizza. I've dined at some pretty prestige bistros over the years and the tartar they served me was absolutely on par with the best one's I've had in Montreal, and France. Bravo freaking Zulu Chef! Sweetie's pizza was delicious to according to said Sweetie. Again, kudos to the Kitchen! Drinks: White wine for the Missus because that's the way she rolls. A 0% alc brown beer for me because I'm driving. According to many sources the pour that I received was cause for litigation, and cause for much worse than that in Ireland where I'm told the barman's well-being would be forfeit.
