Came here for a surprise birthday dinner. They are closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but opened for our large party on a Wednesday night. We perused the menu and were delighted by the choices. The restaurant is known for their gluten-free menu which was perfect for our guest of honor!
The menu makes it hard to decide, from chicken to duck, each entree was amazing. We all went with a prix fix menu of a starter, entree and dessert. We started off with foie gras and toast which was buttery and delicious, next came our starters and some local Belgian sparkling wine which was amazing! My starter was mushrooms in pastry with a St. Feullien sauce, so delicious, not too rich and flavorful.
My main entree was the chicken fricassee with potatoes and it was AMAZING! The chicken was moist, it was seasoned very well. DELICIOUS!
Dessert was good too! I ordered the souffle but it wasn't a traditional souffle, it was like an ice cream with liquor and in a chocolate covered waffle bowl. The entire meal was amazing and super satisfying.
It was a first time here and I would come here again for sure!!! read more
