If I did have any concerns the director was so nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this daycare to everyone! The only reason we had to switch was due to school district. But we loved it here!

In the infant room the teachers are very flexible and make sure the infant's day is as close to a day at home as possible. They allow you to bring in food and snacks from home once the infant is old enough for solid foods and have no problem adjusting to any meal substitutions. Our child loves coming to the center and lights up every time she sees her teachers. They incorporate age specific activities in their curriculum to further the child's growth. Education is a big part of the curriculum in all classrooms which is very important to us. The Gingerbread House was voted best daycare center in Syracuse for a reason and I would highly recommend enrolling your child(ren) here.

There were, to my memory, zero firings in 2017. I can only say the best things about this daycare, where my 4 year old has been going since she was 6 months old. It's not a homogeneous group of kids but they do generally come from white collar families. The teachers have done a really good job of supporting education (my daughter could write her name when she turned 3) and social graces & behavior, including our efforts at potty training.

This drop in daycare center is an excellent resource for parents. Open 9-3 Monday-Friday (with…read morelater 'parent night out' hours most Fridays), parents can drop their children off for up to 3 hours a day while they run errands, get a meal or just take a breather from their kids! I have used it nearly a dozen times and can't recommend it highly enough. First, the owner Mary Ellen is a former teacher and a mom herself and is marvelous with the kids. Second, the center is very clean and has a great variety of toys, games, educational materials for children. My two year old daughter loves it there. Each time I pick her up she asks when she can go back and play. The only negative to me are the hours as I would love to use it later in the afternoon or on weekends. One other great aspect is that children do not need to be toilet trained to use the center the way they do at a lot of drop in places. I encourage parents to try this out...you won't be disappointed!

Everything they have to offer is awesome and a day pass for an individual or family is great price to do multiple activities. Overall a great time and easy to come and go throughout the day. I use the gym facilities (including the eGym system which is very cool), and we have thought about taking advantage of some of the childcare options they offer like "parents night out" The place hasn't changed a ton since it first opened. The locker rooms could use a refresh but the workout areas are solid. I'm not currently a pool user so I can't comment on that. I do feel like the cost to benefit ratio is worth it - especially for a family membership.
