Very clean and convenient 3-star hotel near a major Paris train station…read more I needed to find another hotel rather quickly and so booked this for about $65 per night. Although the hotel locks at 10, there are night personnel on duty to let late-night arrivals in. What I really liked was arriving at 10 am and finding that my room was already clean and ready. The air conditioner works nicely -- important during a summer visit to Paris. The location is quite convenient. The Gait metro is down the Avenue and a little further on is the Gare Montparnasse train station. The beds are firm, but not like boards. A hair dryer can be obtained by leaving a 20€ deposit which is returned when you leave. The only drawback is the tiny shower with the on-off handle that is easily bumped to the off position while using it. I found myself accidentally turning off the shower about 10 times each shower. The hotel serves breakfast for an additional amount (about 10€) starting at 6:30 in the morning.
