Bad quality, received canvas tote bag - medium in the mail and I will never buy from marc Jacobs again. you would think that if you paid for a high-quality product they'd catch this mistake. the stitching is off making the "B" look double-stamped and the "A" is messed up too. Returning the item would take weeks and is inconvenience to me as Its for a birthday gift. read more

I've been loving Marc Jacobs!!! Came to pick up the Sack bag I have been eyeing and of course I had to get it. I've been using it everyday since I got it!! I also have a couple of their tote bags and am in love!! Also, the employees were super nice and helpful!!! I'm super impressed with the quality of the bags for what you pay! I will be back for more!! read more

i bought a canvas tote bag, I was so exited I thought it was the best bag, I bought it on February 15 the bag is fading and is only 6 months since I bought it. please don't buy that bag is expensive an cheap. I sent a letter to Marc Jacobs customer service and this is what they responded. the purchase was made on marcjacobs.com, we do not offer repairs or replacements parts. I will never buy any product from them. My daughter wanted one for her birthday and I told her please don't buy. I bought a MK and took it back after a year cause it had a little hole and the replace it. I was a happy customer going back to MK bags. read more

I order a tote bag online never again! Customer service is horrible! It's been weeks since I put in my order, my card was instantly deducted for the full total but I have NOT received my tote bag yet. hmmmm they already took my $$$ where's my tote bag!!!? Ugh However, I received an email stating "sorry your order has not shipped yet" !? Ok so let's just cancel my order before you send it, I'm trying to cancel my order to no avail. Heads up people, once you order they instantly take your money and you can't cancel your order, you have to wait for it even if it takes months according to customer service!!!! What a hassle! Hundreds of dollars! They don't deserve 1 star read more

I go here because this is the closest location from where I live. Everything is ok but I have to agree on some other yelpers about them sales staff. They are SO SNOBBY, STUCK UP, and there is no CUSTOMER SERVICE whatsoever. I really dont want to go here because somehow, everytime I walk in here, I feel intimidated. I don't know why I feel this way because I'm just an Asian girl and they (the staff) think I'm just going to browse around and walk out not buying anything? I've always came here to BUY stuff not to browse. I dont know. Even at the cashier, the guy was very very rude, almost kind of just "threw" the bag at me and did not say anything. Not even a "Thank You" They need to train their sales staff what customer service is. Not satisfied at all. read more

I would trade my trustfund and an unidentified fetus to own a few collections, a position, and a personal staff of 10. Needless to say. ..The expansion of MJ, Marc, and Marc Men puts herpes to shame as Melrose just reeks of delicious. It spread to me the second day I arrived in LA as I purchased a few tee's and shorts a year ago. Customer service is rabid but sweet, the merchandise is easily accesible, and the window's usually spark up attention. X et O's. Suggested Retail: A quilted wallet and cardigan is about the price of a plane ticket to Manhattan, taxes not included. [Our's is better, anyway] read more

Marc Jacobs - Mecca. - Shoe Stores Near Me - Los Angeles, California

This location was fine, but I far prefer the one in Soho. Staff is friendlier and store has a better layout in NYC. With that being said, I do love Marc Jacobs so of course you will get the same great, high quality merchandise here that you would online or in other stores. read more

I always visit this location, my only problem is the parking. The manager was helpful, as always, styles are always up to date, if they don't have they will get it for you. Customer service A+ -- if you're in the area, I recommend to shop at MJ read more

Just fabulous! And such nice people! Classy classy place with an aura of cheeriness that just puts you to ease. Not stuffy but just graciousness. We started in the men's boutique across from DVF and moved to the attached ladies boutique. Cute kiddie accessories and the ladies' stuff is very young. Moved across the street to ... OMG purses! So pretty, so elegant! Help! I'm running out of words to describe! Just GO! read more

For Christmas 2020, I purchased one of the Marc Jacobs larger bags with a hard shell outside and big enough to carry a computer. In less than a year, the handles literally fell apart. I have now heard this from several people where they have had the same issue with the handles. I would have thought that the quality would have been much better given the name and the price.... read more

I don't think it's any big secret to anyone who knows me that the way to my heart or even into my, um, uh, yeah, is SHOES. I looooooooooooohhhhve me a good pair of edibly hot shoes and this season Marc Jacobs has em and I wanted em! So much so, that as soon as I peeped a pair on some undeserving b*tch (kidding) I immediately started stalking eBay to see if I could score a pair on there instead of paying the almost $350 retail asking price. Well the mighty day came when ding, holy crap, are those...are...whoa...oh my go....FAVORITES and SAVE. I found those bad girls for $100 and they were my size. A 9 which normally is poifect. So now the mission of order was to run red lights and get to Marc Jacobs as soon as humanly possible and try on the size 9's and then bolt home and bid on them. (What? Stop looking at me like I'm weird) Once in, I b-lined and probably knocked over a few rich ladies (meh, casualties of the shoe wars ladies) and grabbed the burgundy patent ankle strappy platforms of love and handed them to the dude working there. "9" is all I said and after about 4.39 minutes (what? you guys don't foam at the mouth and count the seconds waiting for your shoes to arrive, sheesh) there they were. To make them even more enticing he says, "Oh nice, you will be the first to try these on" **GIDDDDDDYYYY*** I then set the shoes down and proceed to slip my foot into them and...ummm...crap...push...push...harder...squeeze that puppy in there....PLEASE SHOE GODS WORK WITH ME!?!?!?!?!? But it was no use. This just wasn't going to happen for me and then total sadness invaded my being. The salesdude told me they had a 10. But why? Why would I do that to myself? That's like meeting the perfect guy and then finding a fly in your Chardonnay or something. SUCKS. So I left. I left empty footed and a bit distraught, but ya know, $350 is a lot to pay for a pair of shoes you could have landed for $100. Sure I would have practically slept in them every night, polished them with TLC each day and written poetry about them, but it's okay...really...I will live...somehow...sort of....no need to worry about me... read more

Dearest Mr. Jacobs..... your clothing is beautifully ugly at times, yet I am drawn to you. Even though your current collection has more sparkle than Las Vegas, had I the money I would wear your shimmery garbs every day. Even that weird purple and orange dress thing that we could not figure out where the neck goes! And your shoes......hubba hubba. you fill me with blistering delight. Your bags blind me. Literally. they are all metallic and its like looking at the sun. But hey, love is blind right? Your sales associates offer me water when I am heaving from being overwhelmed. They lovingly slide my credit card and conveniently leave out the total when handing the card back. They delicately wrap up the tiny, yet still unaffordable item, talking to me the whole time like we are old pals. As I leave your stores Marc, I feel accomplished. I feel alive. I feel like I belong on the O.C. when I get home and see the receipt, I feel a little less accomplished. Until next time my love, yours truly, Tawny read more

I bought a messenger bag from here last week, couldnt be happier with it. Plus it was 40% off!!! I showed up wanting to buy the bag before I knew it was even on sale, perfect timing I suppose. The guy behind the counter was very nice and helpful. He waited for me to make up my mind about whether I wanted the camel or black color, I took FOREVER but he did not seem to mind. I also purchased my GF a new purse from his Fall 2012 collection that just came out. Marc Jacobs rules! read more

I will always hold a special place for the original SF store but this one is a very close second. I love the decor and location of this one. Across the street you'll find the Marc Jacobs men store and across the other street you'll find the Marc by Marc Jacobs store. Am I in MJ land or what? ;) And all fall clothes and shoes are on sale now for 40%! read more

Glee fan worker dude with the glasses (I never got his name, sorry I know I made him sound ridiculous) was extremely welcoming and helpful. They had a secret sale on memorial day and everything was 40% off!! my sister got a really cute shirt and the worker picked out super cute sunglasses for my mom. He was really nice and overall the workers here are 10x better than the ones at the book store across the street. So sad we usually can't afford these clothes, but a trip to LA means you gotta buy something from this store. read more

What could be bad? Oh yeah - they're half the size they used to be :( - I was disappointed considering how much I used to shop there. It's a tiny corner of its former self - fun stuff but al high price points so no fun anymore read more

If your love Marc Jacobs, this place is heaven. They always cary his entire Marc By Marc line, as well as a bit of the Marc Jacobs line, but most importantly they have a selection of cheap-reasonably priced accessories!! Yes, real Marc Jacobs accessories that EVERYONE can afford!!! ranging from 1$ (i swear) to 50$-- meaning you can be broke and still get a 3$ marc jacobs ring that is REAL!!! :) :) read more

I came in looking like a drowned rat (hung over, it was raining, etc etc etc) and the guy working was such a humongous dick to me. I could feel his beady little eyes on me the entire time, even though there were other people in the store who very well might have needed help. After a loop around, the only things I was completely in love with were the purses, which is the LAST thing I need right now. Maybe next season. I LOVE the ivy, though, and laughed for a million years when I saw that bigass sign above the store that basically just stated it was The Marc Jacobs Collection Store. Nothing subtle about that, huh? read more

LOVE this location omg. The exterior of the building is even gorgeous. Super chic, clean, and welcoming. I was greeted when I came in and employees were helpful with any and all questions I had. Sometimes I'll go into these designer retail stores and get scoffed at, with assumptions that I cannot afford the store's items (which is mostly true tbh). I couldn't believe how welcoming they were here. I wish the selection was a little more extensive (especially after shopping at the NYC location), but everything is arranged very nicely. Definitely the place to go if you're looking for handbags and other accessories. Be on the lookout for sale items, especially if you're a broke Midwest girl who is used to a super low standard of living and can't believe how much people pay for everything here. read more

I usually go to the Marc by Marc Jacobs store across the street because they have gloves for $3 because that's all that I can afford. However, Clarisse C. had to use the restroom so the security guard said the men's store across the street had one. He actually meant the Marc Jacobs store next door. This is the high-end, no $3 key chains, no $1 ballpoint pens, Marc Jacobs. I was very intimidated about going in because I was expecting an unfriendly snooty saleslady, but she was laidback and so chill! She was showing my girl some expensive bags, sitting down on the couch inside and just chatted with us. Would have never expected it. read more

I really like how the store is set up here. You feel cool just being there. lol. They have some cool items...some overpriced, some decently priced and some awesomely priced. The guys working here also dress super hip and stylish. It's fun just checking out their outfits =) read more

Love Love Love this MJ boutique. This is a no fly zone for me. Every time I am here, man I end up dropping some dollarz! Marc Jacobs is a fuckin' genius with his attention to detailing and juxtaposing street and high fashion flair, stuffing them in a blender and wah laa, an original fun limited edition Marc Jacbos Vans!..woo hooo. Who knew you could be a kid again. Feels like back in my junior high school days. This store has one of the largest selections of merchandise, color choices and sizes. Also has truck loads of accessories. My favorite part of the store is the limited graphic tee selections that comes out every season. The theme and style are insane.Basically if MJ designed it, this store will have it. From shoes to coats to books to watches to.....of course...the purses...it's all about the purses. For men, selections are pretty good. From coats to jackets to belts to shoes. Best part of the store is the crazy window display that gets decked out periodically. This store is about 2 to 3 times the size of the San Francisco location. FYI - I've even seen a few limited MJ/Murakami collaboration T-Shirts here. Technically, I am not sure if it's a collaboration with Murakami himself but the illustration style is extremely similar. Of course, it is only my best educated guest considering that MJ and Murakami are pals and has wiped up historically one of the hottest bag collection for LV in the history of fashion. Happy shopping. Rock on MJ! read more

Fabulous environment and I love all of the stylist working at the store highly recommend it

How can Marc Jacobs ever go wrong? He just can't. I love this man. He's so fabulous. I can't believe it's taken me three years of working in LA to take the short drive to Beverly Hills for a little shopping. I've always shopped at Neiman's online because I didn't want to deal with the crazy traffic or the snooty sales reps. On the contrary, there was plenty of street parking when I got to the store around 6pm and the sales reps weren't snooty! I love all the bags! If it weren't for my new year's resolution to start saving for a condo which seems almost out of reach for 20 somethings living in LA, I would've bought the whole store. read more

This review is for the Marc by Marc Jacobs store. Lots of cute, cheap accessories. Cute clothes...but usually in the $200 + range...but compared to Marc Jacobs across the street...it's a steal. Service is nice...the ring-up time is bit long sometimes though cause they look up everything in a folder for pricing & barcodes. If you need a semi-celebrity fix...Rumer Willis works here (y'know...Bruce Willis & Demi Moore's daughter). Parking's kind of a pain - meter only. read more

i don't see a yelp account for the marc jacobs for men branch, but i have to say that one of the sales associates named sarah was amazing and made my visit to the store absolutely enjoyable. obviously customer service is a priority with her job, but she provided it effortlessly for my friend and i. not only did she offer us water, but she offered her advice on the items i was looking for and even seemed interested in my everyday life. she gave me her card so that i could keep an eye on a certain item i was looking for and did not make me feel unwelcome at a high-end store like most employees do at other places. i am an avid marc jacobs shopper and i would go to her store specifically to buy anything i needed from her. honestly, i wanted to be her friend more than anything. i hope that a supervisor reads this, because she deserves something for her service. read more

oooohhh this store is beautiful and has luxurious carpet. and i wish i was a snooty, rich, old lady who had a handbag fetish so she could buy every beautiful bag in that store. but i just a poor college student, in a whole lot of debt (the cost of going to an amazing school..Yeah Trojans!) who cannot afford to buy whatever handbag her selfish materialistic heart desires. boo hoo. but the salespeople at this store were very friendly...it was weird how they were all guys..but i guess that makes sense. in a way. and one of them was very attentive and informative. maybe he thought we would steal something and was watching us all closely...but STILL he was nice. (the polar opposite of the mean man at sljbakery) so yes. once i become rich. or somewhat richer. i shall return and indulge myself..and buy myself a lovely bag that i will kiss every night before bed. justkidding. read more

There are actually 3 MJ stores within a stone's throw of each other and that makes this tiny part of LA my happy place. My bf loves the boy store where there are often shoes on sale (up to 70% off!). The tall cute boy there is nice, the snarky one is not. The collection store is beautiful and the people are sweet and helpful. Now the other store.... I go here the most and at the risk of ruining a good thing, I'm telling the secret... this is the best freaking place to buy Christmas presents EVER. You may think MJ presents, this girl must be in debt! But no my friends, there are MANY "special" items to be had for UNDER30$! I have a bunch of teenage girl cousins and I get their stuff here every year. One year a magic wallet 15$, last year a travel bag 10$ (OG price 95!!!). They even gift wrap your loot for you. Go early in the season bc the cool colors can run out. I heart MJ because I love the aesthetic and that its possible to partake in the fashion fun for something as small as a 1$ pin or you get wild and go all out, like getting (my baby) a diaper bag. Also, stuff that is hard to find in the stores can generally be found here and you can even call, buy stuff over the phone and pick it up the next day to ensure you get your perfect item. I heart MJ... read more

Arrrgh. So friggin' yummy. I need to either win the Lottery or be adopted by Steven Spielberg.

I have spent many a dollar in the Marc by Marc Jacobs store. I love the whimsy and sass that the clothes here have. And OH MY GOD the shoes! The shoes! I would put myself into debt to buy them. In fact, at dimmer financial points in my life I have. And happily. They never fail to get compliments, most often from guys-you know that's some impressive footwear, no? Who doesn't like silver flats with pointed toes and rhinestone covered bows? No one I want to know, that's who. I also love that the store carries little cheap accessories like animal shaped pencil sharpeners and band-aid packets for people that appreciate the MJ wit without having the ka-ching to pay for it. Excellent supply of hair accessories and wallets too, if I really had the money to blow on such things. Coming here never fails to put a smile on my face-especially during their kick ass sales (again, it's all about the shoes!). I also appreciate that the staff here has never been snooty or anything less than helpful and kind. read more

My absolute favorite store. Super friendly, helpful, and quick staff. Has everything you could dream of, if youre a MJ fan that is!

Came here to check it out. Its basically what you would think of, lots of Marc Jacobs purses and cloths at outrages prices, but hey its Marc Jacobs. They have a lot of purses that are not in stores such as Nordstroms, so if your looking for something unique and special thats Marc Jacobs, this is the place to go. read more

Customer Service AAA+... In this time of recession who has time for snobby unhelpful sales people? After going into several of the nearby competing stores and either receiving holier than though help or no help at help, it was SOOOOOO refreshing to go into the Marc Jacobs store and be greeted by one of the most professional sales teams I have encountered. The store manager, David, I believe, was not only adorable but beyond professional and clearly awesome at what he does. The rest of the team was amazing and completely attentive. I would prefer to only work with this team for all of my shopping experiences. A top notch operation on Melrose! Obviously the collection is fantastic too. read more

For some reason as soon as my boyfriend and I walked into this location their was an uncomfortable vibe going on. Almost the sort of "I know you're not gonna buy anything so please stop wasting my time" attitude. Not cool considering I respect the Marc Jacobs brand a lot and plenty of my paychecks have gone to his clothing. The selection in the store was nice and the female employee was polite enough to mention some sales they had going on but on an occasion where I was willing to shell out some serious dough I walked out with nothing. Guess I'll have better luck next time. read more
