I flew into town to help with her care and brought her for an appointment with Dr. Braun about a week after she had been released from the hospital. I found Dr. Braun to be extremely arrogant and told my family and me, "Look! She's fine!" before actually examining her (because she could walk). He paid no attention to her, ignoring her very obvious cognitive deficits, and appeared to be preoccupied the entire appointment. We had to call back multiple times to request a urine test for a possible UTI which we had requested in person at the appointment. The ONLY positive thing I can say is that the nurse who brought us to the room before he came in was very nice. I would not trust Dr. Braun with my health, let alone the health of my loved ones.

His philosophy is preventive and functional medicine! He doesn't believe in just giving people meds and sending them for unnecessary tests.! Dr Braver may be fine and the nurse practitioners are competent but the girl she has drawing blood…read moreat her Aventura office is borderline incompetent. I went to have blood drawn 2 days ago and she screwed up putting the needle in my vein so bad I am still in pain and arm is still swollen and badly bruised. This is the second time out of 4 blood draws over the past two years that this happened when she drew blood. Once putting the needle in and one pulling the needle out. Never had this happen to me before anywhere else. And my veins are large and very easy to place a needle in. Sorry to say but this employee should not be working in this job. I love that he's extremely knowledgeable, patient and is a great listener, he really takes time with his patients. Another plus is that he can perform bloodwork right in his office, saving time from having to go to an outside lab, especially when you're sick. I would be remiss if I didn't shout out kudos to his receptionist, Anna. She's awesome and stays right on top of things. I highly recommend Dr. Weinbach and only wish more doctors were like him!

I have needed this done about twice a year for 30+ years. I have also used One Medical in Oakland, Ca. Good quality care there as well. I have "standard" Medicare coverage as well as the One Medical coverage from Amazon Prime.
