This has been BY FAR the worst experience. after putting a hefty down payment down of almost $1,000, it's impossible to reach anyone. I started with them in November and they had months to file a modification and didn't. It took 19 emails, 10 calls, and countless messages to even get a simple, we'll look into it. They didn't get anything done and my order is now set and I'm out of any possibility of modifying my order. The only time they would finally respond is if I would threaten to cancel my contract. The intake specialist was late to his own meeting. The intake specialist could not connect the dots with my case. The intake specialist cut my call short because he had to jump on another call. First take - this law firm is not serious about helping people, only identifying low hanging fruit cases which they want. Her negotiation skills are abysmal. She never does what she says she's going to do. Her commitments slip by a minimum of 6 months. Unbelievable. I was so stressed out about my situation to find the right lawyer and other stuff I was dealing with i called Marbel Law Firm. their explanation with what they are going to do was so different with what they told me after my agreement and payment. I decided to stop working with them and get my money back they took half of my money and paid me the half I never got why?? I asked them to send me an invoice for what I was charged for but they never did. I don't recommend them at all if they do anything for you they don't write their name they said or for settlement agreement, it won't be written all is gonna be verbal. and they charge over $1000 an hour to do this kind of job for people. read more

I've tried to work with Marble Law twice now to help with my divorce, but they have essentially ghosted me twice. I set up a meeting through their coordinator last week and they sent me a meeting invite for today, but the time has come and gone without any contact from them at all. This is despite paying their upfront consulting fee. I need a law firm that respects people's time and communicates with me. It is also nearly impossible to reach them. This firm is a scam!!!! They charged me $500 for doing absolutely nothing. I decided not to use their services after an initial quote of $4,500 for just helping me with child custody mediation. I call them and cancel right away and told them not to work on my case. Conveniently they cancelled my services after a week later my call and ended up paying them $500 for "using their resources" they said. I wanted to try their services since they advised not having hidden fees but they did not mentioned that I had to pay them $500 even if I cancelled their services right away. read more

Make sure you read the Family Law Marble Agreement before you sign the Agreement. Several people call you a few times to urge you to sign. I paid up front with a credit card and I told callers that I am not going to sign the Agreement until I read the Agreement in detail. After reading the Agreement, as many reviewers mentioned, I realized the Agreement spells out that Marble does not put the lawyer's name or law firm's name on the documents but only client's name. I told Marble I was not going to sign the Agreement and I wanted a refund. They at least refunded my credit card. read more

Absolutely horrendous. The worst company I have worked with in any industry. They took my money and passed me one to about 5-6 case managers many of whom I never meet. They told me it would take 6 months and almost a year later I'm still dealing with them. I'd been making monthly payments yet I could not get a hold of my lawyer for over 3 months despite calling, email, and leaving messages. To make matters worse they would not refund me. 3rd review.... update- well there really isn't one. More problems actually. I will say we did receive our full refund. Thank you for that. We had to stand our ground and in the end we were right our Lawyer did not do his part. In fact. I'm writing this because the level of disgust is quite high. We found out from our new council which has been nothing short of amazing and a breathe of fresh air. New council is not Marble just FYI. Our new council had a SOA substitioun of Attorney paperwork filed and it took two weeks for our previous lawyer to sign it over. (Ridiculous) WE found out our Marble Lawyer in fact had a court date. He actually missed it. He didn't appear in court. So our new Emergency Exparte that our NEW Lawyer filed in a matter of a week was denied bc our previous council Marble didn't appear in court for us. The worst part I have an email from our Lawyer 8 days after this set court date... this is his words "I have ordered one of our court affiliates (i.e. our court filing service representatives) to go physically to the clerk's office at the court to inquire about the status. Frankly, if we had filed this as a regular motion, it would have been faster at this point. I can say, without question, I have never had a motion "pending" for this long in my 19 years. Never. If I do not hear anything more, I will strategize over the weekend how to re-file on Monday. Seems like a complete waste, but we have to have some avenue to get to court. I will let you know what we find out today" He apparently didn't even know he missed our court date. He also didn't share the response to our declaration from our opposing party. Which was filed with the court a week after he turned in our Exparte. He said he filed our exparte on July 13th. Which is when we signed our declaration. The court shows it was actually filed on Aug 19th. Were absolutlely disgusted with this company. My husband reached out to Stephanie who helped with our refund. But we have not received a call back. I was asked to take down my review after I received my refund. Unfortunately, I'm adding to it and not taking it down. This is the only way this company seems to take any action. If a bad review is posted they will respond. So now we wait again for some sort of communication. Run away from this company. Google search a firm that is close to the county your court is in. This company isn't local and doesn't seem to care about your case or needs. I wish I would have had this type of truth on a review before spending money, going through so much hardship and neglect from our lawyer and not taking anything our son is going through as a level of high importance. If I could give 0 stars I would. This is literally the worst company ever. I made the mistake of going through Marble for a stepparent adoption case. In the beginning we went over everything, including the fact that the biological father was not in the picture at all, is somewhere down in Mexico, and would not be able to contact him. I was informed that they would take care of locating him, the only other additional costs would be if he chose to fight it. Fast forward 2 years laster. They dropped the ball on the paperwork. It was never delivered to the court and when I kept asking for updates all I would get is waiting on the court. I had to personally go down to the court and find out they knew nothing of the case. Finally got that all worked out. Did everything I needed to with the social worker. Now it's time to server the biological father and they are saying that is my responsibility. Even though at the beginning this was discussed. This is literally the only reason we went with them. I could have done all this myself up until this point. They haven't done a thing for me. At this point, since January 10th, today is the 28th I have no response on Marble for my refund status. When you call the company phone numbers provided on your receipt & case file, Marble sends you to a menu to choose your option, so far I have chosen I am a client option as well as the finance option and I go straight to waiting on hold for over 15mins and hanging up, or getting sent to a recording and hung up on. My Marble contact has stopped responding to my requests for proof of my refund being processed. I emailed through their contact us form for finance to get back to me, and you get no confirmation anyone is working on your issue. I am a single mother. I hired marble to help me protect my children. Sadly, they took my money in less than 15 mins, and I hired them a month and a half ago, and I have nothing to show for it but more stress than I had when I started. I fired Marble due to a lack of contact from my lawyer, 10 business days later, I had no response from 2 emails and 1 phone call, with the information he requested me to provide him. At this point, if you cannot reach the company that hired the lawyer or the lawyer himself, it is a scam. I hope all of you who are as stressed out as I am with a situation that you needed help with, which is what I needed, help to protect the most important people in my life, go elsewhere. I was fighting a case in family court and because of the order from the court, i could not afford a traditional lawyer. I came across Marble Law and i thought it was great. The concept of being able to obtain representation and not have to drop 4 o 5 grand for a retainer was very appealing. I quickly realized the saying "You get what you pay for" is accurate. The first time I set up a call, they tried to put me in contact with a lawyer and no one wanted to take the case. The second time I called, I was acutally able to speak to a lawyer but nothing flourished. The Lawyer stopped responding and my court date passed. All this time im paying the $50 dollar fee to become a member each time. Yes, it was being reemburssed each time, but the fact that i had to continue paying the member fee was annoying. One of the times, not sure when, they asked me for a for a "down payment" before anyting was even done and they stated it was to cover themselves. They wanted 10% of what the total amount was going to be. I told them that that was not in the initial agreement and that i couldnt afford that amount. What sounded totally fishy was when she told me "well how much can you do, can you do $100?" If im closing on a house and the amount is 10%, the bank is NOT going to accept anything less. I've tried (3) more times to set up initial consultation calls only to never recieve any calls. I want to believe that someone at Marble Law can still help me and make it right but im beginning to lose hope. read more

This is a scam. I hired marble law in November and have not been able to contact them beyond an initial chat to secure my money and vaguely outline the plan. They called me once to ask questions. Since then I have called daily for a month and never get a response. You cannot leave a message and no one calls back. I've reached out via email, no response still. It has been weeks. I get random emails (likely auto generated) stating that I have a new person in charge of my case who will contact me within two weeks. This has happened twice and still nothing. Given that all phone numbers appear to be bogus answering systems and no one is answering emails on very time sensitive life problems, I give you all this warning. Have been in contact with Marble law for about 2 weeks now as I have my case coming up real soon. Was told I would be put on a urgent list and someone would contact me right away. I've been getting messages from a guy by the name of James who has been texting 2-3 times a day and keeps saying that he will call me. At one point he even said that he was calling now and never got a call from him. Kind of glad that I looked at the reviews this morning and saw that I wasn't the only one having this issue. Luckily I only was charged $45 and paid no more than that. Stay away from this company. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

The Marble Law Staff & "Lawyers" never completed the one document I needed to move forward with my divorce, but they made sure to bill Wisetack and now Wisetack thinks I owe them over $1,000. I've been using marble for about 2 years. It's a worse scammers company I ever met. They hold my deposit. They text you contract not email you. Everything's done through texting or phone calls. They don't want no receipts. When they want their money they contact you when you need to get a hold of them. They ignore you. I wanted a subpoena serve. They ignored me. I had to call them to remind them I about my subpoena never got served. They made me sign something on text not email me and they stole my $1,000 saying that they gave it to another company that I owed. Not asking me that I want my money back on my account again. I needed another service to go to court. I gave Marble deposit for $2,500. I didn't need to go to court so I wanted a refund back to my account I used. I paid cash Now they're holding my money hostage again. They want me to sign the contract on text not email because they want to keep my money and add some kind of service fee for nothing they haven't done. Marble divorce company thieves don't work with Marble. They don't care about you. They want their money. I've been through so many people and went so many circles. I have never dealt with more inconsiderate representation from anyone! They really don't care about you, as soon as they get paid it's pretty much over on their end. My initial call with my attorney before I paid her was great, sounded promising and then I paid her. After that she was more concerned about my ex other than proof I had. One trial and she was done. Now I can't get anyone to help and I wish I would have looked at the reviews first! This was and still is a huge nightmare! Initially they seemed amazing and made it like everything would be very easy to get done and they seemed like they were on my side, so I paid the full amount up front. Then, I couldn't get in touch with anyone, my attorney kept stalling me week after week with no progress being made. I contacted my "case worker" person Chelsy and she was absolutely no help. I first requested a new attorney, I couldn't get that. So, I just wanted a refund since it has been over 3 months with nothing being done and it is very hard to get in contact with them. Once I requested a refund, I can't get in contact with anyone at all. I feel like they took advantage of me and purposely made it hard to get in contact with them. I believe this is a fraud company who is just out to steal your money. I do not recommend, you will lose your money and waste your time. read more

If I could give a negative star I would do not waste your money. I waited a few months before I wrote my review and for those that lost money I am sorry. I obtained this firm on a limited scope basis in July 2024 I was going through a very nasty divorce. The attorney I was assigned was SOFIDIYA, ITUNU OLAYEMI she is easy to speak with and prompt in responding that I will say. She convinced me I needed to urgently address an issue and draft a document which was another $4,000. Thinking it was necessary I paid it. She was clearly intimidated by opposing counsel and talked me into agreeing to a ridiculous visitation schedule said it will only be for a month because we go to trial in a month. Yes we were planning on her representing me at trial. The day after the last settlement hearing she emails me and says I won't be able to represent you in three weeks cause I have a family emergency. I'm human and compassionate and said ok will your firm give me someone else I received no response from her. I frantically looked for another attorney all told me the same thing they needed more time and recommended I request a postponement. I reached out to SOFIDIYA, ITUNU'S boss telling her the bind they put me in and if they can at least help with drafting the postponement, I told her I found something that could void things she said that's more complicated. Then proceeded to tell me I can file the postponement myself. I did, it was denied. The day of court I asked for reconsideration due to my attorney leaving shortly before trial I was granted the postponement. The judge even said that's not a good firm. I found another firm Rusz Legal Services their communication is slow but they get the job done they filed a motion and that complicated action was granted in less than 30 days no court appearance. I wasted thousands with Marble money they knew I didn't have I was honest up front with them. Don't waste your money with Marble Law Firm in Maryland go to Rusz Legal Service they can fully represent you or do limited scope. Almost forgot the $4,000 extra was a true waste the attorney never submitted the documents I gave her. read more

Run far far away, the lawyers they connect you with never get in contact with you until minutes before court the day of court. you are better off representing yourself or finding a lawyer elsewhere that take payments, you will never be able to get ahold of anyone at marble. they only get in touch with you when you miss a payment. My case manager was Marissa, she never responds back, Mayra Gonzalez and Savannah also never message back, this place only cares about making money, not about what your going through, dealing with marble just adds more stress to an already stressful situation, we're looking for peace and their looking for money, it'll never work.
