We stayed at a hotel beside the small plaza where Marazul is located. The hotel did not provide coffee, so we stumbled over to Marazul each morning to get a "doble con leche" and a tortilla espagnole.
Their coffee is great (it's hard to get bad coffee in Spain), and they are super nice and friendly. They remembered us and our order each morning. It's a friendly local scene - everyone stands or sits at the counter and chats while drinking their coffee. I returned to Madrid at the end of my Spain trip, and though i stayed in a different part of town, I made a pilgrimage back to Marazul my last morning. It's worth it. read more
