Our experience started out fine but ended terribly. We thought we were paying for a professional paint job, but overall, we do not feel that is what we got. The owner of the company subcontracted most of the work to day-laborers and tried to rush us through the final walk-through. At first, the contractor was very positive and accommodating, but as the job progressed and we expressed dissatisfaction with parts of it, he became difficult to work with and was quick to raise his voice or tell us that he was not going to fix areas that we felt were not painted professionally. We would definitely not recommend this company. Lesson learned. Read the proposal/contract VERY carefully in order to ensure that things are stated very clearly and specifically. Do your research before hiring any contractor. Get the first and last name of the contractor and then do a public records search and Better Business Bureau inquiry before hiring an independent contractor. There is much to be said for supporting small businesses, but you might also find that you have little recourse if you are dissatisfied with the work and it was not done by a well-known, more established company. read more
