Of course it's cheaper to get someone just to do ad-hoc arrangements for you and then DIY everything else, but I am SO GLAD I wasn't responsible for setting that up and collecting it all at the end of the evening. It would've made my wedding day 1,000 times more stressful. Milan Event handled transporting our flowers everywhere they needed to go during the day and then picked up the decor after the reception, and it was worth every penny. The arrangements themselves were GORGEOUS and included a more expensive variety of flower than I had anticipated, which was a nice surprise and rare for the wedding industry. When the Milan Event folks showed up the day-of to my bridal suite with the flowers, they were even more beautiful than had I imagined. We ordered the Hawaiian Paradise package for $3,000 with a ceremony at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park's R2 location. This particular location had an extra fee of $500, but it was absolutely worth it. This location is a beautiful swath of beach, gorgeous rocks, tropical foliage, and the beach faces the sunset perfectly. It is STUNNING, especially when the sun is setting. I couldn't have imagined a more romantic place to be married! They managed the difficult steps of the ceremony setup and breakdown, ensuring that all the vendors arrived on time, and I didn't have to worry about a thing! They handled the arbor, decorations, flowers, chairs, chair decorations, officiant, musician, photography, wedding cake, a beautiful sign made by a local artist, a ginger ale toast, transportation to and from the ceremony, and more. It seemed like an endless list, and they managed everything perfectly! The florals were absolutely exquisite! Say Yes had Karro Florals provide the flowers, and they were the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen in my life! I was so worried they wouldn't be premium flowers, but WOW, they were stunning! They included so many floral arrangements, and draped the flowers and beautiful fabrics over a gorgeous bamboo canopy on the beach. It was SO PRETTY! They had the cake delivered directly to our reception at the Rooftop Cafe, and it tasted so amazing, everyone loved it! We ordered a two-tier cake so we could keep the top for our anniversary. Say Yes handled all the details and served as the middle man for all my requests, and throughout every stage of the planning, they never made me feel bad for being particular about something or trying to save money. I could spend hours discussing how disappointing Michelle Bell and her fraudulent company are, but I'll start with this: Michelle Bell ruined my wedding day. She is a scam artist who has clearly done this multiple times and takes advantage of brides. Just take a look at the numerous Instagram pages and websites she has. Here are just a few of the things that went wrong at my wedding: - My ceremony was delayed - My MOTHER (the mother of the bride) set up the majority of the wedding even though Michelle was paid to do this with her "staff" - Dinner was served an HOUR AND A HALF LATE because she mislabeled all the tables. Where was Michelle you might ask? Eating her dinner with her staff while all of my guests starved. - Our DJ and photographer were not able to do their jobs because of Michelle's inability to be a wedding planner - My husband and I ended up cleaning up after her because she left the room a mess - She stole all of our flower arrangements after the wedding - Pocketed most of the money that we paid her - Lost my mother in law's prescription glasses - Caused unfathomable emotional damage for my entire family. Michelle Bell is solely responsible for ruining the most special day of my life and I would advise any bride to stay far away from her. She will also tell you she is a florist but my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets all fell apart within minutes. Furthermore, she will claim she worked at the Biltmore in Miami but she in fact did not. I have received confirmation of this from the Biltmore themselves. Michelle is a disgraceful human being and a scam artist. Stay far away from her.
