I asked once, "who makes these sandwiches?!" and was told a local woman makes the hundreds of sandwiches daily and distributes them to the BP's that have the deli counters inside (the one on sr. 70, sr. 64 and I've been told others do it too). Know this. They have specials every day of the week. "Wacky Wednesday" is my favorite because pressed Cuban sandwiches are half off! Also, I recommend grabbing a cup and filling it up with boiled peanuts. The Cajun flavored are unbelievely good if you like a good kick. They are sold (inexpensively) by the cup size. My dad came to visit me this December and I brought him in and said "Dad you have to try these." He went back every day that he was here for the boiled peanuts. I had specifically requested to speak with Lee, who had previously assisted me with questions regarding my eyeglasses prescription. Regina informed me that he would be available in approximately half an hour, so we continued shopping and returned shortly after his arrival. Upon our return, Lee was assisting another customer. Regina immediately recognized us, remembered that we had been waiting to speak with him, and informed Lee that we had already been waiting for some time. She then graciously continued assisting Lee's customer so that he could help us without further delay. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that we received the assistance we needed was truly commendable. Regina demonstrated exceptional teamwork and genuine care for Costco members, making our experience an exceptionally positive one. But I have specifically spoken with Andrea one of the Pharmacists and I know I've spoken with a few others. A huge kudos to them and their staff. They have gone above and beyond several times for me. I am only one client. I am sure that they do this across the board for all of their clients which are probably in the thousands. The customer service experience at the pharmacy is unparalleled and outstanding. They have relentlessly contacted my physician in another state while I am tdy & dealing with medical issues with my parents for an indeterminate amount of time. They have made numerous phone calls about numerous issues and always, always followed up with me. Even when my cell phone provider, it inadvertently blocked all Costco's across the United States from being able to call or leave voicemail messages or text. They were still consistent and diligent, in going above and beyond on the behalf of myself. I cannot speak highly enough the pharmacy staff. For the rest of this costco... well it's typical costco.

It's many different things to many different people and the symbolism is also different. These trips, I anxiously awaited seeing the WAWA sign in Jersey. I thought it was the Canadian Goose looking logos name, but it wasn't. But inside there were treats of pies and ice cream and no gasoline, so I was surprised to see the pizza and the pumps wayyy down here. Because you know what they say in Florida, other than "go on vacation and leave on probation" is "the further north you go, the more southern it gets" and the opposite is also true here. My buddy wanted to try their pizza, I was lukewarm at best to his proposal but we did it anyway. I have a neighbor that speaks about WAWA, as in everything about it, (the food especially) with such reverence, I do believe it's his favorite restaurant and I'm not sure if I should tell him that it's a convenience store and gas station. He's a peculiar fellow so all of what he says makes complete sense to me because I guess we're all a little crazy around here and be beyond here, the whole worlds gone a bit crazy I'd say He loves his $2.79 a pack of "Miami grown and local" 305 cigarettes and at over two packs a day, mind you that's not included his 305 purple or gold cigar habit and all of the smoke that he's sucked up has turned him a shade of ashen grey, there's a big missing teeth issue too. 16" veggie, marinara, mozzarella cheese fill, red onions, green peppers and mushrooms.
