I ask to be seated away from the door? Hostess says where do you want to sit I said doesn't matter just not in the entry way. Server was good. Drinks were horrible, they put ice all the way to the top of the glass. Barely any soda or water in the glass. Drinks are the cheapest part of the meal WHY skimp on them? We both ordered 12oz ribeye's medium. Steaks came out well done, very dry and tough. For $35.00 per steak it should come out the way it was ordered.

The sauce was tasty, the filling was delicious. Pasta was tender. The dish was three lasagna rolls, covered in sauce and cheese. She loved it but she said it was too much sauce but very tasty. I had the Chicken pesto pasta. The pesto was very tasty. Chicken was overcooked. Pasta was slightly overcooked. Overall it was a very tasty dish. My primary complaint is the portion size. I ordered large but my bowl was only about half full. There wasn't alot of chicken in my dish. My daughter inlaw had the smash burger. She loved it but the patties needed seasoning. The smash burger was assembled nicely and overall very tasty. Fries were nice and crunchy. Overall a good meal and pleasant dining experience.

I had a pizza before and wasn't the most impressed, but I was willing to give them another try. Craving a salad tonight I decided to order and I'm so glad I did! The large chef salad is huge and packed! Tons of meat and cheese, literally a whole hard-boiled egg, four slices of tomato, multiple slices of cucumbers, etc. There were also 2 large cups of ranch and the ranch was just as amazing! This quite possibly the best chef salad I've had in over 20 years. It really took me back! It's so big I can easily get 2 meals from it. I added a pic under the photos so be sure to check it out. The price was even quite affordable. The only thing I could possibly think would make this better was if they cooked their own bacon, but the bacon bits on the salad were all real and great quality. None of the cheap stuff or artificial bacon bits. I also ordered the cheese bread to have a little something extra with the salad. I was thinking it was going to be cheesy bread sticks maybe, or one of those oval shaped breads covered in cheese. This is actually much bigger and about the size of medium pizza. There is plenty of cheese on it and the olive oil and garlic really put this cheese bread on another level. The crust tastes like pizza crust and the flavor is incredible. I had a large cup of marinara and it is also really good. Everything was exceptional, including the temperature, time, and service. And it may sound odd but the utensils included were also great quality, very durable. I could easily cut up the veggies and meats without concern the utensils would snap. I will most certainly be regularly visting Vitales and ordering this same meal. It's so good I don't know how I could go and not get the same thing. I'm telling everyone I know. Run, don't walk and you can thank me later!

What I received did not have powdered sugar on them. It was cinnamon sugar. Basically these were more like smooth churros. I can't speak to anything else on the menu, so I'll keep it at a 3 star.

This business also sells bagged Texas tamales, of which this Mexican girl bought several. And the flavor did NOT disappoint, what a surprise to find authenticity so far from home. From the creaky wood floors to a worn Chesterfield sofa, this place has character and history. The owner and his wife were incredibly kind, accommodating, and down to earth people. My breve was tasty and they had options to serve my dietary restrictions. There's a general store in the back with toiletries in stock and other necessities for those who may be visiting from out of town. Even the beautifully unique bathroom design left an imprint on my mind. I can't wait to go back again and try more items on the menu!

People around me were though. I don't have an issue for kicking someone out who is underage for smelling like alcohol. The issue was, I was asking the guy upfront if they take Apple Pay and talking pretty close to his face during that due to it being loud around us. He had the opportunity then to refuse to take my payment for "smelling like alcohol" yet he took my payment, took my friends' payments, and then only kicked me out allowing the others to stay. My friends decided to leave with me and they were refunded their money while I was not. They completely scammed me, do not go here it's not worth the money you spend.

Been going here every day…read moreof the week and ever since the closure of Panera, Lynchburg has been in dire need of a solid sandwich place. Honey Baked Ham's sandwiches are filling and honestly a breath of fresh air. Placed super close to my school its been my go-to sandwich shop. The meat is cut thick and the hickory smoked honey mustard is by in far my favorite condiment. Make sure to ask for crunchy onions on your sandwich nicely and buckle down for a solid lunchtime meal. At first glance the sandwich isn't that large and you question if it really even is worth the price but honestly it's filling, clean, and quick. Sure its like a dollar more than I would care to admit but the Tavern Club is a great deal for what you're getting. Now that Covid is clearing up, there is plenty of seating. The only thing that I would change is that the sandwich menu is way off to the side and isn't easy to find upon first entering the restaurant. Make sure to pick up a punch card and fill it out for a free sandwich! Every Tuesday is double star day.

We really wanted a…read moresteak, but recent rating on another steakhouse recommended caused us to look elsewhere--so we picked Benjamins. It was a pleasant experience, rustic look, casual--we had only been there one time before We had a shrimp appetizer, it was fantastic, huge shrimp, recommend asking for extra O'Bay spices if you order this. Then, we had a surf and turf with baked potato, steak was excellent (tender, good flavor), crab cake was acceptable but could have been better (estimate 6.5 out of 10). I ordered a seafood trio with salmon, crab cake, and crab legs. Crab Legs came with one cluster of snow crabs (they were not warm by the time I got to them and had been dried out (maybe overcooked?) and I would score them about a 4.5 on a score of 1-10). The amazing part of the meal was the Brussel Sprouts (wow, so tasty). salmon was ok, small portion, and cole slow was good. So it may sound as if I am critical of some of the food, but overall I say it was a great experience. Service was great, The thing I noticed about the clientele and ambiance is there were many people that come here regularly on Friday evenings--many of the people seemed to know each other and they were enjoying the evening--again great place!
