Well if you're a tourist who just can't handle street / stall food this is your only option at the floating gardens in Xochimilco. And it's so catered to us types I was embarrassed but wth... it's better Then risking (not that it's without risk) getting sick one day before coming back to the US. We just mostly wanted some downtime without the sales that is otherwise the trajineros and all the vendors. The H had a simple fried chicken and I had an Aztec soup which was quite tasty with tortilla strips and pieces of a white cheese which added a nice texture and taste to the soup. And their house flan was good too. I'm not sure I'd return to xochimilco for the "floating garden" boat ride (way overrated) but if you must this is a good non-stall food option. read more
