The store has a better feel to it than most other Game branches and the same generic stock you'd expect to find in a store, perhaps a little too many pre-owned games compared to newer ones but as Game do offer a buy/sell service of old electronics and games, I presume this can change. My comments on that service were explained in more detail in my review for Game's branch in Brighton here (https://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/game-brighton-3) - It sadly seems trade-in prices have declined over the past few years to a much poorer and less competitive rate. The staff in the store seemed nice enough, but they did seem to have too many staff at the door and they were a little overstaffed, which is strange considering I found a good number of stores throughout the rest of the mall to be the opposite. Nice store in terms of overall feel, but pretty much average in terms of product range, this is probably the better store compared to similar rival CeX for buying in terms of prices, yet worse for selling especially pre-owned goods. 3* - Nice overall feel, yet product range could be improved with more newer goods considering they are supposed to sell both and trade-in prices could also be improved, especially for mobile phones where I find Game to probably be the worst retailer for trading in (it makes me surprised they actually have a decent mobile phone section at some branches including this one!)

I am very dissatisfied with the service since I asked them expressly since I was not satisfied with my purchase, and I started to investigate and in Apple's conditions are that you can return it in 14 days even if you have started it. I feel cheated and scammed and very dissatisfied with this new phone.

The selection was pretty basic especially with few TV's in stock and an equally terrible printer and laptop selection - the latter was just more basic laptops with only one laptop in stock, the Alienware which wasn't basically a potato. They did have a really small Apple selection, but this only consisted of a few old iPhones and an Apple Mac Computer. Good location with a basic range but it is much poorer than you expect from the brand - again the staff seemed more interested than talking amongst themselves than getting out there and helping customers. 2*

It's quite small in comparison to other stores but still packs everything you need for the house in there! I've found the prices comparible but not as good as the larger stores. Staff are pretty non existant (which is the bad point), only at the tills so if you have a question and are unlucky enough to be caught in a busy period, then you have to queue to ask, only to find 2 other people magically appear from the mystical store room just when you don't need them! An odd shop but a functional expeirence.

RD charged me for four items and for their express delivery as part of a larger order earlier this month. The lanterns did not arrive. yet I was charged for their delivery. More disingenuously, RD's online communication and receipt pretended that the order had been made. When I complained by telephone and email I was assured that I would be reimbursed for the missing items. TEN DAYS ON, I am still waiting for my money. I will be taking this to Which! and suggest in the meantime that this shop is best avoided.

I noticed in store that the…read morephone got a bit warm as I was setting it up after I bought it, mentioned it to the sales person (Sravan) and he advised me that it was normal as I was downloading a lot of apps at once. The following day, I got a notification from Apple saying that the battery was not an original Apple part/genuine and it keeps going hot all the time. I am based in Manchester and unable to return the phone in store, so I called the store. I explained my situation and at first apparently I couldn't even get a refund for it, but then I could get a refund only if I returned it to the shop in person even though I made him aware I coudn't travelled down to London just to return the phone. I will escalate this matter with my bank for a chargeback.

It would be helpful if you could phone a branch in advance to check instead of risking the journey. To top it off, he then bought a game to make the journey worth while, only to find that the store had only put three out of the four disks in the box, hadn't put the receipt in the bag and when he tried to return it to a local store they hadn't put the sale against his barcode either. Fortunately the guys in the Woolwich branch were understanding and gave him a refund anyway! The Stratford branch seems "sketchy" at best! Will definitely avoid next time!
