Asked if we could be helped. Obviously we were there looking for a mattress as we told the sales person. Need one for the new RV we just purchased. About a minute later another couple walked in, "Can I help you?" Same as we stated, "we're looking for a new mattress." The sales person being the only person there should have said, "I will be right with you.", and continued to help us but instead we were ignored while she played 20 questions with the latter customer. I told my wife, "guess our money is no good here.", and we walked out being ignored. On the way back home we noticed another mattress store that we were unaware of. Stopped and same senario, only ones in the store with sales rep. He was extremly helpful and inquisitive to our sleeping habits. Showed us several mattress. Another customer showed up. Sales rep told them he would be right with them. He gave us options on different mattresses and food for thought so we told him to please help them while we look at the ones you showed us. Purchased a great mattress that we are very happy with, so maybe thank you is in order to Idaho Mattress Outlet for the bad service. I would have gotten better customer service at Costco.

We had a wonderful experience at O'Dells in Pocatello. We came in one day to check things out and…read morewere greeted warmly by a gentleman we later learned was named Mark. We told him we were just wanting to wander around and look. We found a sofa and love seat we were very interested in but needing to think things over we went home. Came back a few weeks later and Mark once again greeted us. We asked him about the sofa and love seat in the corner and unfortunately it had been sold. The set was the kind you sink into, which we refer to as napping sofas. We asked if we could order a set and the answer was of course. But wanting to make a good decision we asked if there was another set that was similar in cushiness. Mark showed us a set that was close. Lots of information later and 35 hundred questions, we left for the day. Mind you, I began this by letting Mark know that we were not ready to buy today and it would be another month or two IF we decided to purchase. Mark did not bat an eye and continued to give us all the information I requested. Two weeks later we stopped in the store one more time so I could measure the furniture to see if it would fit in the house. Once again I told Mark we were not ready but had more questions. After measuring again to see if the dogs could sleep on the back of the sofa and talking about Teflon coating because of said dogs I was ready to leave with all my info. The husband then said nope I want it now, Mark please wrap this up! Mark had it delivered that weekend! Now, let me tell you, Marks customer service is what this review is all about. Our furniture is lovely and so very nap worthy, but the overall shopping experience was made because of the stellar service Mark provided. He was not pushy, he was patient and very informative. And best of all, Mark really listened to what we wanted. So thank you Good Sir! You are the reason we have our awesome plush sofa set. Ps Here is a bad photo of our new furniture that the dogs got to sit on it before I did. And Mark, if you read this Buster found his new napping space!

Mark Samuelson has gone above and beyond for us on a large order, and it shows. He's not just there to make a sale--he's there to make sure everything is right from start to finish. Alongside Rodger Hillman in Rexburg, these guys have become the go-to team for our entire valley, from St. Anthony down to Malad. What really stands out is their consistency. Whether you're shopping for high-end pieces or just need something practical, they take the time to understand what you need and help you find the right fit. And if they don't have it, they'll track it down. That kind of effort is rare. Even more impressive is what happens after the sale. Years later, they're still there to help, answer questions, and make things right if something isn't perfect. That level of follow-through says everything about how they do business. The quality of the furniture is top-notch, and if something isn't, they stand behind it and fix it. No runaround, no excuses--just solid customer service. If you're anywhere in the area and need furniture, it's worth your time to go in and work with Mark and Rodger. You'll see the difference immediately. Highly recommend giving Odell's Furniture a shot--you won't regret it.
