The store itself is a must-visit just for the space: it's in an old gym that's been refurbished, leaving the gorgeous two-story space intact, with a full lower level and what might have been a track level in a square balcony on the second level. The upstairs is where you'll find all the college gear, art, and some games; down below are the gifts, textbook pickup, general bookstore, and younger kids games and activities. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, and while the prices are full retail for books and gifts, you will want to support the ability to browse by buying some stuff, we hope. A genuinely nice find in an otherwise somewhat disappointing (for books) pair of college towns in Potsdam and Canton.

They also have LOTS of local handcrafted items for sell, including local Amish-made items to music to books. I always stop in around the holidays to finish off my shopping. While some of the prices may seem high, they reflect the amount of time and work that is spent on that unique item. There are many less expensive items offered as well. I also enjoy wandering into the display part of the store which is basically a mini-museum. Don't miss their gingerbread house exhibit around Christmastime!

I wore the one that was more age appropriate for me, I wasn't really comfortable with the long v neck on the one, even at the store, but Haily/Holly said it was fine for my age and naturally my Husband agreed so I settled. Well I wore the long black one with fall colors on it, this i was completely comfortable in. Another friend of mine was there and she had purchased her dress there too, which I thought was awesome. So long story short, I am a farmgirl, no longer working in the office/business world. I called and asked if I could return the UNWORN DRESS, still with tags on it and the LUNA paper.....I DID NOT want a refund, I would exchange for a shirt(s) just the $42. pd. for the unworn dress. No they can't do that do to COVID. Hmmmm so when I went in it was COVID and I was allowed to try on as many dresses as I needed to purchase something and with a pleasant attitude. Soooo if I can't return an item do to COVID......sounds like clothing should not be tried on due to COVID......unless you wrap your body in a plastic bubble so you dont drop a germ. They even towed my boat back the 5 miles away that it died (I thought I was only about a mile away). They rent boats & cottages. They repair boats and boat things.
