Goddard also does so many wonderful things in the community as well. It is really a wonderful little school.

Additionally, they went up 16.5% on our tuition last year, and another price increase is coming in the next month or so. On top of the price increase, they have cut some of their services. They used to offer a full breakfast, but they have changed that to an AM snack instead. It's very frustrating to be charged more for tuition and get less services. I would've highly recommended this place a year or so ago, but they are the most expensive place in town and you can probably find better quality elsewhere. We are in the process of looking at new facility to move our daughter.

Policies allow the children to run wild with no true guidance or discipline, parents way overpay for what care the children are provided. Parents pay $400 per week per child and are fed ham sandwiches multiple times each week. Teachers come and go because after 90 days, they realize that this employer is a scam. Health insurance is not affordable and teachers with children still pay a large portion of their checks for their children to be enrolled. Teachers are great individuals but are not paid according to their responsibilities and duties. Multiple teachers are given out of ratio classrooms and are asked to do more per shift because of employee turnover: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Of course, I had no idea, but I asked the universe to lead me to the perfect school and OF COURSE, that's literally what I got. I just have to say FIRST, I'm soooooooo excited for my kids to attend here and SECOND when I entered this place I just felt overcome with tranquility from the music they had on, which was like meditation music and my kids (3) and (2) went straight to Priya, the director, which made me feel even more at peace. And then when my son asked her where his cubby was she said, "when you come back we will have one ready for with your name." I thought that was very sweet. Then when my kiddos kept playing with the paint bottles after I told them not to, she again very gracefully stepped in and redirected them. She didn't say no, or anything like that. Just, "it's not paint time," but "do you guys wanna come over here to check out the kitchen?" Once again, I was like YES!!!! We can't wait to start in the Fall.. I just loved it from the 45 min or so my tour lasted, and so did my kiddos. I have so much respect for what Priya is doing, thank you for making this mama feel like "this is our place."

The teachers are genuinely so caring, creative, and dedicated to the children. Our daughter has thrived in ways that we could not have predicted, both socially and academically. The activities they provide are so much fun for the kids, our daughter got to hatch baby chicks, grow butterflies and have so many hands-on, nature-based learning experiences. It's such a joyful environment for the children and we couldn't be more grateful.

However, when we got there 15 minutes prior to our scheduled time the director was nowhere to be found and we were just sitting there. I finally asked the lady at the front desk when we could meet with the director and she told me she was not there, but still at her son's doctor appt. I totally understood that, however, she asked me to reschedule for later so of course, I said yes. I received confirmation to my phone and then another notification saying the staff was out due to a stomach bug or something like that. I understand. However, after that I expected to get a call from the director or the school to reschedule once again but that never happened. My intention in writing this is just for another mama to take my experience into consideration when looking for the perfect fit for their kiddos. It just seemed/s off. I can understand staffing turnover has made it difficult for them but they gave us no notice and chose to not keep my daughter in the program because she doesn't have siblings. In other words, they made a business decision about my daughter and our value to them as a family. We always paid in advance so she would never have to deal with her care being transactional and they could focus on her without worrying about the money side of it. Unfortunately, we just weren't valued here. To boot, since we pay in advance they had a check in hand for this week and despite me telling them not to, deposited it. Now we have to try to get our money back.

Both kids are absolutely thriving in the warm, supportive environment at LSP. The school itself is beautiful, clean and modern. It's a nut-free facility, including peanuts. The director, Heather, and all of the staff are friendly and caring. Miss Elizabeth and Ms. Melissa are phenomenal helping to support our child's potty training efforts and encouraging her creativity. Ms. Allie and Ms. Lyssi are absolute cheerleaders for our little one's development and give us wonderfully detailed daily updates on his activities and accomplishments. LSP has a proprietary, user-friendly app for daily check in/check out, real-time updates (eating, diaper changes, etc) and sharing photos/videos. Seeing real-time updates helps parents follow their child's day and gives the opportunity to call or message with any questions or concerns. LSP a definitely a top tier childcare facility in this area. Tuition includes everything aside from diapers (food, baby wipes, even baby formula!). Linens for nap cots, cribs and even sleep sacks are provided and laundered daily. All meals and snacks, made in-house daily by their chef, are varied and healthy. Also included are extra curriculars! Every week our 3 year old has dance and karate classes. During the summer they had soccer lessons and water play days on the playground. They also have enrichment activities provided by their staff, like Spanish class with Ms. Josie and yoga with Mr. David. Our kiddo gets so excited for the extra curricular activities, which she likely wouldn't be able to participate in otherwise due to our work schedules. The thing that has impressed us the most at LSP is their understanding that all children develop at their own pace and they are willing to work with families on each child's timeline. For example, our baby wasn't ready to give up breastmilk at exactly 12 months, so his teachers worked with him to embrace eating solid foods during the day and gradually wean. LSP is also flexible with appointment schedules and accommodating drop offs even if they may coincide with nap time. LSP also does a wonderful job offering monthly special events to help include families, for example, Father's Day mini golf, Thanksgiving lunch, and a holiday singing program. They vary the times of these events (morning/lunch/end of day) to help accommodate parents' work schedules. I highly recommend LSP to anyone looking for high-quality childcare! My daughter attended another daycare for about 9 months but there were many concerns. As a first time mom, I was thinking maybe I was being overprotective and thought that this school I researched and had been recommended was good. But after a while, my husband and I decided to look elsewhere. After seeing the MJ location and meeting some of the staff, we opted to move her when they opened in May. I could not be more happy we did!! Every employee is so warm, caring, gentle, supportive and creative. We have been SO impressed with the care our daughter has received and she has truly thrived since starting at LSP of Hendersonville! In addition, they are always doing arts and crafts, listening to music, getting outside time in their beautiful play areas, have delicious meals and have a large range of toys to enrich their days. The value of our tuition is exceptional compared to the opportunities it creates and I am confident will deliver lasting returns! I could go on and on! We are so impressed! We are very impressed with the Goddard School. All of the teachers have degrees in early childhood…read moredevelopment or similar areas, and it shows. Each week the school has a theme, and each age group learns an age-appropriate lesson relevant to that theme. Examples are recycling, sign language, etc. There is a rock climbing wall for older kids, an outdoor gardening area, a library, and so many thoughtful touches. The staff are very friendly and take the time to get to know all of the kids. They are very clean; everything that touches a kid's mouth goes into a bleach bath before being passed to another child. The classrooms are well maintained. Our child smiles when being dropped off and when we pick him up. That's a great sign. He hugs on his teachers, so I know he likes them. We are so appreciative to have our child in such a great daycare.
