So, we found a way better vet in Langley that we have been seeing regularly for the last 4 years now. However, we made the mistake of picking up a bag of prescription diet dog food to see if we could get her allergies under control once again. $200 plus taxes for the bag. She refuses to eat it. On the bag, Science Diet says 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. If not satisfied, for any reason, return it to the authorized dealer that you purchased it from and receive a refund. The website for Science Diet says the same thing. I called head to Tail and ask them if they have it on record as my dog was a client before and they usually record the purchase. I said I wanted to return it for a refund. She said on the phone that because my dog had previously eaten it...like, a year and a half ago, I could return it, but I would not receive a refund! They would add it to their stock of food that they feed the animals I guess? What utter nonsense. I would not trust these veterinarians even a little bit. Nothing but a bad an unpleasant experience from day 1

He refused to perform a scheduled tooth extraction of a broken tooth on my dog, despite my dog clearly being in pain, after I asked to see whether x-rays taken during a previous dental exam at his clinic, showed any issue with said tooth. Regardless of whether he liked it or not, a good vet would swallow his pride and show the x-rays, since I paid for them and it's my right to see them. It's clear now why this clinic is always empty of paitients when I visited in the past. Avoid at all costs!

We figure she ran into a nail or something. I immediately called them as they were the only ones still open at that time and they took her in immediately even though they were fully booked and they even stayed late to do emergency surgery on her. I cannot thank them enough for doing this. They went in, repaired the muscle that was torn as well and stitched her up. They did a beautiful job and I cannot thank them enough for staying late and helping her and us. Forever grateful. And these people obviously care about their patients! And their work is great too. the incision/stitches are very beautifully done! Thanks again

He…read moreis an unparalleled diagnostician, and will NEVER recommend a treatment nor test unless it is necessary. George genuinely cares about not only the health of your pet, but when you are faced with the conflicting emotions when your beloved pet is facing the inevitable, his honesty allows you to ensure your pet does not need to suffer needless tests or procedures to prolong their life, should that cause them undue pain. My Soft coated Wheaton Terrier, Riccochet, had undergone TWO surgeries for breast cancer prior to meeting George, and the FORMER vet decreed ~ when she developed a similar lump in the remaining tissue ~ that the cancer had returned..and recommended chemotherapy. At this point, I sought a second opinion, and I am so grateful I chose George. Within SECONDS he CORRECTLY diagnosed this lump as a cyst and thereafter informed me that she was in EXCRUCIATING weight bearing pain from a pre-existing condition the OTHER vet had MISSED. He gently applied pressure to her spine and her legs crumpled beneath her, as she let out a small whimper of pain. George also told me her eyesight was failing, as was her hearing & her heart was slightly enlarged, to which I said, "Are you telling me she is falling apart?" He said, NOT UNKINDLY, "She is in TERRIFIC shape for a dog who SHOULD HAVE DIED three years ago." Shay was then 13, and George said SCWT's typically last but a decade. Under George's care, she lived a vibrant, active playful and JOYOUS additional FIVE YEARS...her QUALITY of life GREATLY enhanced by THE ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS, and his prescription of the meds for her back pain. ADDITIONAL: all her medical records (including the biopsy supposedly confirming that her tissue was cancerous [ a paper the former vet read in front of me [but i did not see]) coincidentally "DISAPPEARED". My poor beloved sweet pupper went through two EXCRUCIATING surgeries made more expensive as Wheatens require sighthound safe anesthetic (to a cost of well over $3,000.00) which were absolutely UNNECCESSARY. She also suffered the UNDIAGNOSED BACK PAIN prior to our finding George. The money was not truly within our means, but I used my savings as I had been told she would return to a life of quality. MORE THAN THE MONEY, the physical PAIN I caused her by trusting a grossly unethical vet was far more vexing. It was unthinkable to me that a vet would LIE about such an issue and perform UNNECCESSARY surgery on my sweet doggo...but this is the absolute truth. I ADORE GEORGE because of his kindness and ethical conduct, his BRILLIANCE and his genuine empathy for all those who can not speak for themselves.

Dr. Robertson is a great vet...his bedside manner is up front. He just tells you straight what is going on without all the pretending to think your dog is the greatest ever, even though they all are ;) I also really like the fact that I'm not made to feel like a crappy dog owner if I don't want to go the most expensive course of treatment. I'm never sold anything I don't need or ask for, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the most important part is that I trust my senior with them. My dog has a recurring ear infection, and when I came back after a week of treatment to make sure I was doing his cleaning properly, they treated me with respect and my dog with dignity and I didn't feel bad for asking for help. Again, I want to stress that I have had nothing but positive experience with Dr. Robertson and his staff, and I would always recommend them :)
