So in it they were selling some chicken s, chicken pieces, jalapeno cheddar burgers, clean burgers, garlic sausage, bratwurst, jalapeno cheddar sausage oh and they had some blueberry maple breakfast sausage which I liked. You're also steaks and pork chops but I didn't buy those. They have sauces, like barbecue sauce etc, honeys, spices, some pretty attractive cutting boards too. There's also a refrigerator with sauerkrauts. I like the dill pickle one. There's also eggs from Mayberry farms, some salad dressings, some cheeses. There's also a freezer section with some of their Frozen meats. I believe this place is also maybe an abattoir, or a place where the beef goes after the abattoir. You can order beef in bulk. But also in bulk that's pretty reasonable for a couple or single person. Check out their website We tried the garlic sausage which I really liked, the maple bacon breakfast sausage which I thought was good. The jalapeno cheddar burgers were a hit as well. Oh in the freezer they also had some bagged sauces, for example I bought a Bolognese that was frozen. I haven't tried it yet Staff: Oh the people that work there were so nice. The guy behind the counter was nice explained how things were made helped me take a couple things so. Explain how everything worked. The lady of the cash, was a little busy at the time I went but she was cool. Answering all the questions while serving people. It's not always really busy because when I finally went to pay there was only one other person in the shop with me. Would I go back? Yes when I'm in the area I will definitely go back. Over 1/3 of the meat was very fatty ground beef, not an amount of lean ground beef to fill out the order as was the agreement. No liver was provided although the agreement included frozen sliced liver.

Apparently it started off as an IGA, but then broke away from the franchise and blossomed into what it is today. I love going to grocery stores when I'm in a different city, because they always have products that aren't available at home. So the last time my husband and I were in The Soo, I dragged him into the rental car to go check out Pino's and now he raves about it even more than I do, lol. It's huge like a Loblaws or Superstore, but has the feel of more like a Farm Boy or a Whole Foods. It has a great bakery section with fresh baked donuts! The prepared food section has lots of variety. We were growing tired of eating out so much on our trip so we bought a bunch of stuff to eat back at our hotel room. Just learned that he was bothered for my calls. I always assumed he is a friendly guy and easy to work with. Things changed a lot lately. Hanging weight is a mystery. They can say anything they want. During the last few years, the overall hanging weight doesn't make sense anymore. Smaller cow seems weigh a lot more these days than a bigger cow, comparing pictures. I asked if I could see when they weigh the cow-quarters before processing. He'd always decline that request. TRUST - not sure if it exists anymore. Asked to distribute the cow into seven shares, they never charged us for doing this before, this year, they charged extra ($70) for this service. The meat processing instructions are often messed up. One good thing is that they pack nicely and label them. Overall, very disappointed with their service for two years in a row.

Employees were friendly and very helpful to the point at the checkout the sacker spoke up about a special price on 3 boxes of Chex cereal as my mother in law was making the second batch of Chex Mix. Everything we needed was there - though she was looking for Chocolate Orange and they didn't have any. So close to Christmas the place was packed though and it was difficult to navigate. Given how much snowfall there was the parking lot was in need of another scraping. And also given how far north it is and the amount of snow St Ignace receives I think they should have a longer entry area to make sure snow covered boots can be shed of the snow instead of making the whole store's floor slick and wet as you walk and it melts off.
