I have some medical concerns, and he really showed empathy and seemed very helpful. We scheduled a physical exam for me, and talked for quite a while. I changed my HMO information to make him my primary care physician, and I was glad to have found someone good. When I showed up for my physical exam, he had forgotten my chart at his main office, which is in New Rochelle; so he didn't do much of anything. This would not have upset me except that he was also extremely unhelpful. All of a sudden, since he didn't have my medical history in front of him, he didn't believe a word I was saying. What?! He didn't even tell me to have my physical rescheduled, and at that point, I didn't feel like coming in again for it. After that, I needed to call him for a few things--referrals, prescriptions, and one illness. Each time I called, I would manage to actually get him on the phone, which is unusual for doctors these days; but he was extremely unhelpful! One time, I needed refills on some prescriptions. I spoke with him, and he said he would refill them, but that it was still too early to do so; he told me to call back in a week (when my medicine had almost run out), and he'd refill them. Guess what? I called back, and he refused to refill them! I wound up in a serious bind. I must have called 4 or 5 other doctors I'd seen before (at some point in this lifetime), just to get those prescrips filled in time. It was a nightmare. I wound up switching to a different doctor after that. My new doctor can barely hear, but at least he's nice. :P

As is my usual fate it was not my insurance that changed. SHE decided she was no longer taking Blue Cross Blue Shield. I was devastated. I have no complaints about her treatment. On any occasion that I need an appointment, fortunately not too often, I am normally given an appointment the same day or at the latest the next day. On arrival at WestMed I have never been kept waiting for my appointment and a member of the doctor's support staff quickly takes me into the office for my check up and meeting with the doctor. If I need any medication Dr. Feuer sends the prescription directly to CVS where it is waiting for me by the time I arrive there. Even more, Dr. Feuer even calls my house to follow up on any visit and see how I'm doing. All in all, an excellent doctor, proving excellent service.

Four or five came I after me. Everyone got called and I was alone. At 9:40 I left. When I told them they said oh we're preparing a room for you right now we're just a few minutes behind. I'd still be sitting there now if I hadn't left. They clearly just forgot about me and I could tell I was going to go sit in a room for another 45 min waiting to see the doctor. In conclusion, this place is a mess. Avoid it unless you like having your time wasted.

Lokesh Reddy has been an astonishingly thorough PCP for me and I have two examples that demonstrate…read moreit. 1.) In the spring of 2020, I became violently ill- a cough that led to vomiting that occurred between 5-10x a day. Dr. Reddy worked methodically and diligently to get to the source of the problem. I met with a gastroenterologist, a pulmonologist, a neurologist (I have MS), and none of them could find an issue. Dr. Reddy then became convinced I was having an environmental issue and sure enough, we discovered an HVAC duct had been so badly constructed in my bedroom that I was inhaling dust that made me very, very ill. I was able to fix the issue. Example 2. Two weeks ago, I got Covid and it was recommended by a doctor friend of mine that I apply for monoclonal antibody therapy. Dr. Reddy wasn't well educated in what this was and to his credit, he listened to what I knew, got off the phone, called my friend, did his own research and submitted an application to two programs on my behalf. I'm happy to report one of them accepted me and after receiving the treatment, I was able to break a fever for the first time in 9 days. My doctor friend called Dr. Reddy a unicorn, as it is not often you find a physician who's humble enough to spend time learning all with the goal of making me better. Can't recommend him enough.
