Riverfront Travel Apartments was an excellent concept that we had never experienced before. We've…read morestayed in hotels and we've stayed in houses using Air B&B and Verbo. RPTA is sort of both combined. A cool old brick building in downtown that has been completely refurbished. We loved our apartment. The view sucked, but other than that it was fantastic. A full one-bedroom apartment. Complete with a full kitchen including a dishwasher. A little dining area and a really comfy living space. A TV in both the living room and the bedroom. Laundry in the apartment was great! Cooking vessels, coffee maker, toaster, plates, utensils all provided. The full-size fridge had an ice maker. Two loads of detergent were provided for laundry, three for the dishwasher. The couch was a hide-a-bed should it be needed. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. The décor in the apartment was great. Really nice watercolors of different landmarks of Spokane. We had the big Red Flyer wagon in our living room. There was no staff on site. Everything was done over the phone, but they all were all super friendly, professional and polite. We were granted early check-in which was a huge help and relief to us. To access your apartment you are given a code to open the front door to the lobby. Punch in the code again to get the elevator to move. Then a different code gets you into your room. The location is stellar. Downtown within walking distance of Riverfront Park, River Park Square mall, all sorts of great dining and drinking spots. The convention center is literally across the street. Pricing was good. It was cheaper than name brand hotels in the downtown area, but more expensiver than "budget" hotels. Only a few cons: *We stayed three mornings, but only were given two mornings worth of coffee. *No amenities. No pool, Jacuzzi, gym, etc. (But no "resort" fee either!) *No parking - did not affect us, but it might you. *Our view - Unit 304. Looked into the alley and staring directly into a very tall building. No natural light could get in. Had to keep the blinds closed the entire time. *The white noise machine was missing from our apartment. We didn't need it, but I did call so they would not think we stole it. We flew in from San Diego and did not rent a car. We were in Spokane from Thursday night to Tuesday morning. We spent a total of $79.88 on Uber rides. My brother who flew in from Wichita spent $140 PER DAY on a rental car. If you have the flexibility to not rent a car as we did, I highly recommend it. Would most definitely stay at Riverfront Travel Apartments in the future.

LOTS of road noise (especially at night, with cars street racing), very loud compressor used by offices across the alley, another loud compressor used across the street, intermittent trucks that do some kind of loud loading in the alley. Thin walls/doors. Lousy pillows (so bad that I had to buy one). Very slow coffee maker that automatically turns off after brewing, so you have to keep turning it back on to keep the burner hot.

The golf course was in pretty good shape. We played it two different times. The best part was we were allowed to play a 5-some. Not a lot of courses allow that. The food at the course after was decent for the area and was decently priced. We loved that the resort offered a lot of different options outside of golf. The putt putt area was great for some family fun since the weather was gorgeous. They do offer pickleball but the courts are by 16 tee box on the golf course. We didn't find these until our last day. Do not spend the time setting it up/making your own pickleball in the gym. Overall we had a great stay in a clean area. Would recommend for anyone looking for a secluded area with some fun family activities to do.

To Management, On…read more5/15 at approximately 6:50 PM, I brought my family to the pool at Stoneridge Resort for a relaxing evening swim. As share owners, access to the pool is one of the amenities we genuinely value and enjoy as a family. Upon arrival, we were informed there was an issue with our punch card. I calmly asked whether we could simply pay the normal admission fee for the evening and resolve the punch card issue at a later time. During this interaction, the tall, heavy-set woman with sandy-colored hair and glasses at the front desk became confrontational and loudly stated, "DON'T YOU GET HUFFY WITH ME!" in front of my wife, child, and other guests. I was honestly stunned by the tone and manner in which I was addressed. At no point was I aggressive, disrespectful, or argumentative. I was attempting to calmly resolve the issue by paying full price and moving on with our evening. Being publicly spoken to in that manner was embarrassing, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. Unfortunately, after reflecting on the situation, I also realized this is not the first negative interaction we have experienced there, which makes this incident even more disappointing. As paying share owners, we expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I would appreciate this incident being reviewed by management and addressed appropriately, because interactions like this reflect poorly on the atmosphere and reputation of the resort. This is a small community, and positive experiences matter. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future guests and members are treated with the professionalism and respect they deserve Respectfully, Lance Crawford

The pictures do not do justice for this spectacular home. The location of the house was in a perfect location. Convenient to the Interstate as well as to the Downtown area and lake. Everything we needed was in a short walk or drive. The neighborhood was a beautiful collection of modernized craftsman homes and everything was manicured to perfection. Lisa was extremely responsive to anything we needed (like a place to eat or grab a coffee). She was always in constant communication with check-in and check-out, as well as checking in to see how our stay was. The house has EVERYTHING! There was nothing that we wanted that we could not find in the home. There were plenty of towels. The washing machine was pre-loaded with soap for washing a few clothes. The kitchen was stocked and everything was labeled. All high quality items in this house, from the quality of linens to the All Clad cookware. Everything seemed brand new. The house was laid out perfectly over three floors. The bottom floor had two bedrooms, a huge living area with a 85" tv and another game room, along with a nicely sized bathroom with a 4' countertop. The main floor was vast. It contained a master suite and bathroom that belonged as the feature story in a Kitchen & Bath magazine. The Kitchen belonged on the cover of the same magazine. The colors and materials were picked perfectly! There was a spacious laundry room on this floor as well as a dining table that comfortably would seat 10. There was also a spacious living room for relaxing and carrying on a conversation as well as a powder bath. The upstairs had three bedrooms and two baths. One was a en-suite and the other a hall bath that was just outside the two bedrooms. There was a lovely lounging area at the top of the stairs as well. To top it all off, their was an upstairs covered balcony that had beautiful views of Coeur d'Alene. This was an absolute jewel in a beautiful city. I can't recommend this place enough. You will not be disappointed if you rent this for your next multi-family vacation, corporate retreat or just a luxurious trip out of town!

It's never ideal to be out of your own house, but VRA made the entire experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. The rental itself had a few issues right out of the gate--things like the dryer not working and the hot tub needing attention. What truly impressed me was how quickly and professionally VRA responded. Their team was on it immediately, getting people out to the property and resolving problems without delay. No runaround, no excuses--just fast, effective solutions. From start to finish--communication, responsiveness, repairs, billing, and overall customer service--VRA was top-notch. Issues happen with any property, but how a company handles them is what matters, and VRA absolutely delivered. Their attention to detail and commitment to taking care of their guests really stood out. I can't say enough good things about the Vacation Rental Authority team. If you're looking for a company that genuinely cares and shows up when it matters, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend

We also had access to the pool and fitness center operated by the property owners association; it is quite nice. A couple of questions came up while we were there.
