Sajna stocks the Lebanese beer Almarza (for a long time the only Lebanese beer); a delightful pilsner, probably the best Mediterranean beer I've tried. The takeaway carries over a little to the dine-in service --- we got wooden chairs with sequined pillows, but the food came on plastic trays with disposable silverware. Didn't affect the flavor at all, but perhaps not the most impressive place for a date. Didn't get a chance to try the pumpkin kibbeh; sounds interesting. Next time!

The store owner informed us that he was catering a wedding that day and would only sell us the food he had made for the wedding (there may have been something lost in translation). The food he gave us was delicious, but we would have loved to be able to explore the options. Vegetarians and vegans should consider this place if they are hungry.

My steak was the best I ever had and I am a meat lover and know my meat. However, on the flip side, my mom's lamb dish was so dry and tough she didn't eat it. I could tell just from looking it was overlooked and dry. So disappointing since the owner insisted it was very good and cooked correctly. It is pricey so you expect perfection and we got a mixed review. Would I return? Not sure. There are too many great restaurants to take a chance. I say no.
