I then went to Angi's and filled out the form for service and received a reply that someone would be out tomorrow and the charge would be $496. Then I contacted Brown's Water Well Solutions. Darrel promptly returned my call (it is a Sunday) and talked me through the simple fix. No charge! Now all is working well. Kudos to Darrel and Brown's Water Well Solutions. They will be my "GoTo" folks for any future work I need done on my water well system. "Two thumbs up!"

I called to ask why I got a bill for an additional $1,142.79 instead of $3600. I got one excuse after another. They didn't know... the man that did the work didn't work there anymore... that person isn't in the office..... I had paid the original amount and since I never got an explanation for additional charges of $1,142.79, I didn't pay those. Three years later Kutscher Drilling filed a lien with Hays County for $4800 (notice NO credit for the $3600 I already paid!) I didn't know about this lien until I applied for a loan. My credit score is 850 because I pay my bills. I explained the situation to the bank and they said I can't proceed until I paid the lien. I paid Kutscher Drilling the $1142.79 PLUS $863.82 in fee from them AND the filing fee. A MONTH HAS GONE BY AND KUTSCHER REFUSES TO RELEASE THE LIEN. Still excuses... one after another: "no one is in the office, the office is closed, Christy isn't in today, we will do it next week...." THIS COMPANY IS UNETHICAL. I am not the first one to write a bad review. I wonder if they wrote their own good reviews or paid for good reviews? FIND SOMEONE ELSE UNLESS YOU WANT TROUBLE!!

A three-year extended protection plan can also be purchased for $65. Kutscher charged me $1,435 plus $400 labor to install the same pump with the manufacture's 5-year warranty. I know I should have asked for an estimate before I approved the work but knowing the on-line cost of the pump, I did not think Kutscher would triple the cost. By the time their technician had diagnosed the problem, I already owed them $160 labor anyway. The technician was very good and friendly. Work was done in a professional manner.

There is simply no company that has better service than this company. Honest, high integrity, doesn't pass the buck but figures out the problem even if different from what you called about. Prices are very reasonable, and actually think they should charge more. Unparalleled customer service that you just don't find anywhere these days. The pump was replaced in the Texas freeze of 2021 by another well company. And we have had issues with trying to decide what was the main issue. D'Spain was highly recommended by my neighbor who use them for a constant pressure pump and a deeper well head drop. Then another recommendation by my water softener company, BioTec, Parker. D'Spain promptly sent out Garrett, technician and he worked on the well and adjusted the increased the timing and said that would in one hour to re-test the adjustments. He was very informative and very knowledgeable on the well system. He did increase our output, and explained in language that we could understand. If we do decide to drill the well deeper most definitely use Chris D'Spain Well services! Great job D'Spain on the hire of this young man.
