This region is fairly well known to have large pastoral farms of many cows roaming around as you drive by! Last time I drove by I was sorry I did. This time I did not make that mistake twice! You walk inside to a little snack bar that opens to a wonderful cheese shop and ice cream bar! Selection is very large but the focus is on cheese curds and block form of fresh curd cheese. I was quick to purchase two small bags and the cheese is awesome! Not as salty as other places and very very squeaky! The ice cream bar looked to have a huge incredible selection! Game on for another day! Definitely a great place and a local landmark to come get your cheese fix on!

I've been wanting to try out Victoria for a while now, but never had the chance to do so…read more Recently, while travelling through Victoriaville we thought it would be just right to do so and took the time to stop by. I wasn't sure what to expect but was really surprised at the setup. I was expecting a traditional restaurant but it turned out to be more like a fast-food ordering but with various places to sit and eat (booths, a more private area, and a typical eatery). I didn't know they also had an ice cream section but then again I was there for food :) Walking in I was taken by their ad for a "Montreal Burger" and ordered that. Turned out to be somewhat of a Smoked Meat Burger but wow the flavour was amazing! There are a number of other items on their menu that strike my fancy so I'll definitely have to head back and try them out some time :)

However, the very kind ladies who hardly speak English at all, and with our lack of French, still went ahead and made us breakfast. We had generous portions of food for so cheap! The women working here were so friendly and even with the language barrier we enjoyed trying to figure it all out with them. Highly recommend this little spot!
