I found Salon Surrey from someone I just met who had not only had amazing color but a perfect haircut that moved so beautifully and I just had to know where she went. Her stylist is Kailea, obviously an amazing stylist but when I reached out to the salon through Yelp (response time also amazing) and asked if there was a stylist who could do a butterfly or wolf cut, the owner recommended Jenna so I trusted that and booked it. So glad I did. Not only did Jenna know what a butterfly cut was, it was her favorite cut and DID she nail it! So over the moon with my new cut. I booked an appointment for my daughter right away with Kailea as she had an opening for the day we needed as Jenna was booked. But I've seen Kailea's work first hand and know that she will be in great hands. I don't think you can go wrong with anyone at this salon but Jenna and Kailea are brilliant stylist. That's just how you feel when you leave. Cleanliness is top notch, products are out of this world and I love that they try different brands and get feed back from their clients. I love it. I've been several times now (mostly for haircuts). The past 2 visits, I was forced to wait almost an hour past my scheduled appointment time before getting sat in the chair. Today, I received a call requesting that I reschedule my next day appointment which I scheduled well in advance. I understand that things come up, and I'm sure these ladies are doing the best they can, but this is the 3rd time I have not been treated like a valued customer so I will not be returning to Michelle James. I hope your experience is different than mine if you decide to try this salon. Would absolutely still recommend an Aveda salon.. just not this one.
