Zenda's attention to detail, like the heated blanket and her soothing shampooing technique, clearly made my visit unforgettable. It's wonderful when self-care turns into an experience that's both relaxing and rejuvenating. I look forward to my next visit being just as magical! Today I had one of the greatest hair experiences ever at then Hair and Body Salon in Augusta Georgia with the owner and hair stylist Zenda. From the time I sat down it was just peaceful she trimmed my hands to perfection and invited me to the shampoo bowl I told it was a little chilly for me. She pulled out a stylish heated blanket. I don't even know what happened after that I was in and out of sleep it was so tranquil it smells good it was clean and fresh and Airy she was kind of pleasant and attentive she washed my hair it was like yoga and meditation and a massage all at the same time. It was such a treat. I just melted into the shampoo bowl and chair. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Thank you Zenda. Your service felt like I had done yoga, meditated and got a massage at the same time.

When we walked in today, there wasn't anyone at the front desk to greet us, but this is usually not the case. The last two times we went here, someone greeted us immediately as we walked in. The atmosphere here is quite relaxing, with soft alternative music playing in the background and the hum of hairdryers in the air. If you want to just relax while getting your haircut, this is definitely the place. We didn't have to wait very long for Chelsea to come get my fiance for his haircut and, as always, she greeted us with a big smile. My fiance's hair always looks great when she does it! She does an awesome job with my hair as well and it seems like she knows exactly what I want despite my vague descriptions. The prices here are a bit high, but it's worth every penny to get our hair cut by Chelsea!

So that's why I wanted to get my hair done while on vacation in Augusta. I found this spot here on Yelp, saw that it had all five star reviews, and had a good feeling about it. And my feeling was definitely right! They're certainly masters at what they do. I came in as a walk-in and my lady and I were greeted right away by one of the barbers. She said she had an opening after one more client, and I was more than okay with waiting, since I didn't have an appointment. I watched the five barbers and all of them were doing great work. They know their cuts and it shows. After about 15 minutes, India, my barber, was ready for me. I told her what I wanted, also asking for a beard trim, and she went right to work. She was very friendly too. I'll admit, I'm a talkbox when I'm getting my hair done, and I enjoyed talking with her. She asked me questions during the cut to make sure I was getting what I wanted. When I saw the finished product, I was VERY impressed. I looked better AND felt better! She did an amazing job on my hair on my beard. As for the price? Just $27 for it all ($26 plus $1 for a credit card payment). How can you beat that? Before I left, I told India I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town and in need of a cut. Master by name, masters by skill. If I find a spot like this back in Cincinnati, I'll be going there ALL the time. An expert cut and beard trim at an unbeatable price in a very laid back atmosphere. Can't beat that!
