Just finished a wonderful meal at a very charming spot…read more We stopped by Olive Oil Pantry when the market first opened and they were working on the restaurant and promised to come back..... life got busy but we finally made the time and we are so glad we did and are so ready to return. Service was wonderful, the entire staff welcomed us and dotted over us. Nice relaxing atmosphere where you can watch your meal being prepared and can interact with the staff. We had the appetizer special; bolognese served over toasted bruschetta and it was so fresh and so good.... I could've had just it as my main course. We then had a half-and-half pizza, choosing half Margherita and half pepperoni with hot honey. The crust was so thin and crisp, the best pizza we've had in the area. We finished our meal off with a slice of their olive oil cake with a drizzle of limoncello olive oil...... another great choice. We were so happy with our meal and the service and the interaction with the owners and staff that we definitely will be back. Will have to try some of their other dishes next time. This is a perfect "date night" location or a great place for a couples date. My only regret is that I didn't take photos of the beautiful dishes that we were served! We were so busy trying everything and the photos was an after thought. Our next visit I will definitely take photos.

I saw a family come in after us and the children were given some seat cushions. I might ask for them next time! My husband ordered a glass of Cabernet and I had the Pinot Grigio. Yelp photos showed a bar with a cocktail menu, but that is no longer available. I should have taken a menu photo because there are no longer entrees, just pizza and a special of the day which was lasagna. We each ordered a side salad, a half hot honey pepperoni and half margarita pizza, and a lasagna. The food was served hot and everything was fresh and tasted good. I felt the lasagna was pricy at $32 for a single portion with three small garlic bread pieces. I would not order it again. It was just okay. We ordered the cheesecake for dessert. It came with a delicious berry topping. It was excellent. The service was excellent. It is a small restaurant, so make a reservation to ensure a table. The menu is limited and there is no longer a full bar. Would we return? I'm not sure. The pizza selection is very small. Not enough choices for me.

Hour of arrival was around 5pm. We were greeted by Natalie and welcome in. We sat at the bar. Shortly after we were greeted by Caroline. We spoke about what brought us here. I explained to her i saw thier Yelp page and a pictures of a pizza caught my eye. She explains in detail of what she is doing with this style of pizza and the ingredients she uses. We were sold. We ordered 3 new haven style pizza or apizza as advertised. We ordered the Mozz , Margherita and one not on the menu Pepperoni hot honey apizza. This is the order she suggested we have them and we complied. I'm no expert of new haven style pizza but I'll watched enough Dave Portnoy to maybe not necessarily be a judge but to recognize what makes a apizza. Let me start by saying these pizzas were delicious. As for the characteristics of a new haven there were some. I'll let you be the judge by the picture or your own experience dinning here. We tried all 3 as they were coming out the oven and also tried them with Caroline customizations. In short they elevated the apizza. She also mentioned she puts some parmigiano reggiano on her pizza and has a big wheel of it in the back which I didn't get the chance to see and take a picture. None the less another thing to like about her pizza.. Natalie crafted some fine spirits for us to accompany our pizzas although I wish they were a bit more unbalanced in a good way but then again the are mixed drink. The ambiance was great with Contemporary jazz playing. I like jazz so it was delightful. If you are at the bar you may need to talk a little louder to your friend. 3 pizzas 5 mixed drinks plus tip $190. I will certainly be back with my wife I think she will like the Alfredo pasta. Caroline signature dish. Heavy cream she says.

The service felt so homey -- everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive without feeling rushed. That kind of service really makes a difference. I ordered the Mexican hot chocolate (so comforting and delicious) and an omelet, which was amazing. Portions are generous and super satisfying. There's something about eating here that just gives you that nostalgic, comforting feeling, like a classic breakfast spot done right. Definitely a place I'll keep coming back to. I'm not sure how busy it gets on weekends. The coffee is always fresh, and the menu has all the classic café breakfast options you'd expect. My favorite is the chorizo omelette with a side of strawberries. The omelette is flavorful without being greasy, and the strawberries are always fresh and delicious. The toast is decent, though I think trying a different bread brand could make it even better. The servers are consistently friendly and attentive. Orders come out quickly, and coffee refills are always topped off without having to ask. Overall, Frank's is a great spot for breakfast and definitely worth checking out.

We ordered the Jack Daniel's burger and the Boathouse Club, both with a side of coleslaw. Both dishes were surprisingly good. Coleslaw was fresh, bread was perfectly grilled. Meat was tasty. FOOD: Unfortunately both the Philly cheesesteak and mac n cheese lacked in flavor. For entrees, I recommend ordering the pizza (only available Wed-Sun) and burgers -- they're solid! We enjoyed the Boathouse Nachos and appreciated that the chips came separately from the hot nacho toppings. SERVICE: The service was great, and our waitress even walked out to us in the parking lot with our to-go box after we forgot it inside. So sweet! AMBIANCE: The best time to come here is on a sunny day when you can enjoy the deck and view of the water. There's a park right out front, so it's very family-friendly! We also brought our puppy with us twice and sat outside. PARKING: The parking lot is quite small, so you might have to park in one of the adjacent neighborhoods and walk over on a busier day.

The men could not speak English and were from deep someplace in Mexico and I needed authentic food. After sharing this information with Elizabeth at the counter she suggested a lot of food that I could not understand what it was but I trusted her and paid $130. The Mexican men did not eat the food only the 4 tacos. There was salad, lots of vegetables, onions, radishes, zucchini, cilantro, many sauces, large flour tortillas and small corn tortillas that one could put together to make something by adding from a box of beans, rice, and some fajitas. No carne salada which I hear the men speak of frequently. Why didn't the men eat as I know they were hungry? There was no place to sit on this construction site, no plates, and it was especially not an environment where one can put together a piece meal such as in a buffet. Next day I learned that maybe burritos, chimichangas, or something like a meal in one could have been better choice out in the elements but I relied on the advice of the expert server behind the counter. The food went to the trash. Can any of you men tell me where I went wrong for this surprise lunch? Such a disappointment. I will speak to the manager.

It's located in an industrial area and I'm so happy my family asked to have Italian for this dinner. Julia was our server and was awesome! I appreciated her patience, suggestions, her attention to detail and sense of humor. Service as a whole was top tier here. We got there just in time before their dinner rush. After we ordered the dining room, bar and patio filled up. I had a Cali Squeeze blood orange brew on tap. It was perfectly chilled and perfect on this hot day. We ordered a meatball sub as an appetizer. Oh my goodness, this a must if you are a meatball fan. It was perfect and marinara didn't give me instant heartburn. For entrées our kids ordered chicken alfredo, hubby ordered their Tuscan Siena special and I had to try their steak sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. My steak sandwich had a lot of meat in it, but it was a little dry for my liking. The bread was dry, no condiments, just some onions. We took the leftovers back to our hotel and I picked the steak out and had it with some mustard as a snack. That was more satisfying. We did help our kids eat their chicken alfredo and I enjoyed it with some extra pepper. Next time I'm in Manteca, I will be back for a meatball sub and their fries. I'm so sad I didn't come back for another one and a cold one before leaving, but we'llbe back. This cozy local gem is family friendly, serve great Italian food and their prices are fair. I highly recommend and I look forward to returning. Thank you Julia for your hospitality and great service.
