I have been a cat lover for over 20 years, and have been visiting vets for sometime. This horrid experience with manor vet Halesowen will never be forgotten. It started off from receiving a vaccination on my kitten, which was carried out poorly, by a nurse when requested by a vet. My kitten bled and was left in her carrier. Everybody makes mistakes but this was pure incompetence. My situation became worse became worse because the staff didn't have the courage to own up to their fault and fobbed me off with a hundred excuses. This was escalated thereafter, on the phone as an informal complaint, which led to management raising their voices upon being challenged. This was further escalated to the directors, of whom suggested I seek vetenary needs elsewhere. I simple example of company pride as they can afford to mistreat customers and their loved pets. Kitten is doing much better now, in a new vet where the staff are less arrogant and are alot more responsible. Shame on you manor vets !! Remember animal lovers, if you're ever doubtful about mistreatment, never be afraid to escalate it, even if outcome is undesired. At least your loved pets are in better hands, and such situations can be avoided by yourself and others by warning. Priority is animal welfare. Good luck everyone and god bless :-) read more
