I thought the setting was wonderful it was possible to see for miles around. I was pleasently surprised how much this place had to offer as if all that icecream and cakes wasn't enough for you there is also animals which includes donkeys, rabbits, goats, geese, and of course cows and a playground and mini golf. Yes there is mini golf with the most amazing views of West Yorkshire The icecream was simply delicious I have to admit it was difficult to decide from all the yummy flavours 24 in total lucky that it is possible to have scoops of different ones together in one tub. Also they sell large tubs to take away and store in your freezer. It is possible to eat inside the cafe or the is seating outside which is lovely on a nice day. They use the products to make the milkshakes, so it isn't like the boring mars bar milk you find in pertol station refridgeorators. Cereal flavours are popular too with Frosties, Coco pops or even Weetabix available. Prefer your shake or smoothie to be fruity? Then try pineapple, banana or peach amongst others. Cakes and desserts are on the menu too. I would reccommend coming here for dessert. Skip dessert elsewhere and get a dessert flavour shake like apple pie, chocolate brownie or carrot cake? Biscuits like jaffa cakes or custard creams are part of the 200+ flavours too. Yeah he bought ten scoops to take home. Which I very much doubt lasted two days. Everything here is prepared halal, as it's run by Muslims. Ever wondered what Muslims do at night whilst we go to a pub? They go to places like this to fill themselves with sweet stuff. Based right at the entrance of Chill Factor-e this is the best ice-cream parlour around! There's so many different flavours to pick from, it always takes me a good few minutes to make a decision. They do have the standard flavours like vanilla, mint choc chip, etc, but to mix things up a little bit, they have some genius ideas, such and ice-cream mixed with sweets, biscuits and other delicious sauces. This time I opted for the Jammie Dodger ice-cream - it was perfectly creamy and had little chunks of biscuit in it. I'm not a massive fan of the ice-cream cones so I opted to have mine in a tub. There are however a few different options when it comes to the cones, there's the standard plain one, a chocolate one and one with sprinkles. This is a cute little café, so there are seats so that you can sit down and enjoy your ice-cream. Alternatively you can walk around with it and watch people ski / snowboard through the viewing area. The prices are marvellous for the quality of the products served. I cannot fault this place at all.

I will confirm that there was no synthmesc involved! (Tee hee!) So, after being my usual indecisive self I panicked and went for a Milky Bar milkshake. Sadly, it didn't quite hit the spot. I think it was mostly due to having chosen a slightly bland chocolate bar to put into my shake, had I gone for werthers originals (which is my usual at Shaky Jakes) I think I'd have been much more satisfied. Nevertheless, the options are endless so I'd advise considering your penchant before you enter as choosing can really hold things up! The staff were all lovely though, and the system seems particularly well organised as within minutes my shake was ready. In this instance I wish I could 3.5 stars, but hey - that's what a review update is for! And if it means going back and drinking more delicious milkshake goodness, I'm down with that. They have various chocolate bars, fruits, cakes, biscuits, cereals. When I say various, I mean loads, their sweets section includes things like fruit polos, wham bars, tic tacs and toffee popcorn. And yes, there is always room for one odd-ball suggestion. Marmite. Urgh. The only time I can ever imagine anyone actually consuming a Marmite milkshake is if a silly teenage boy gives in to a dare. In which case it would probably be followed by the kid in question being promptly sick all over the floor. Nice! Marmite and sick aside, I think I could probably be tempted by one of their fresh strawberry shakes, or maybe marshmallow. They really have hit a good idea though, with the high footfall of people that cross The Merrion Centre every day they are set to make a packet. So, considering their ridiculously huge amount of ingredients and the obvious amount of effort they have put in, I reckon they deserve 4 *s.
