Recently my husband needed an implant, we had other opinions and were told that they could do it…read more Dr. Dalal recommended he have a 3DCT because he explained that the the panorex doesn't alsways show everything correctly and on the current pano it looked like it could be done but he wanted to make sure. However the 3DCT showed that only a 6 mm implant could possibly be done but Dr. Dalal explained that this was on a 2nd molar and 6 mm would not be recommended with my husbands grinding and strong bite, he said it would not last very long due to this. The 3DCT showed that the mandibular nerve was in such a placement that any other size implant would be impossible as it would surely hit the nerve and then could cause paralysis of his lower jaw. I'm glad he pushed for further test as I can't even imagine if someone tried to place an implant without doing the CT. Dr. Dalal took his time explaining everything in great detail which we are very grateful for. Disappointing that he can't get a tooth put in where he lost one but super glad that we came for a 3rd opinion, in the end it just wasn't worth the possible trauma of his jaw and we are very grateful to Dr. Dalal.

I have a referral from the hospital stating exactly what problem they found and that I need evaluation from an oral surgeon to determine treatment. That apparently isnt good enough, I would need to have them also state what procedure/surgery I need, but how would I know that without being evaluated? She said I would need to see another oral surgeon who would actually provide me medical care and tell me what procedure I need before they would see me. So they don't evaluate patients they only want to get the money for the surgeries? When I tried asking clarifying questions about how I would have that information without being seen first the women became very rude and then hung up on me. Clearly not an office I want to work with for medical care.

His dental staff will have your teeth looking like they are brand new again after a cleaning. I recently had a tooth removed and found out several things that were disturbing to me. #1 my insurance doesn't cover any part of an implant. #2 it's a long and expensive process. #3 you have to go to at least two doctors (for the post and then the implant). After being riddled with anxiety over the drilling of the post I found a doctor that was going to put me to sleep for the procedure and charge a lot more money for it. I found out by accident that Dr. Farbman does this procedure as well. After speaking with him about my fear of drilling he talked me through it and told me I wouldn't need to be put out. I later learned he was right. A few weeks later he did the procedure and I was so happy. No pain during and no pain afterwards. A picture perfect post at a reasonable price. Dr. Farbman is a talented and honest man. You will be impressed by his gentle and caring bedside manner. I wish that he was also my PCP and my gastro doctor as well!!

Noticing that she was advertising in our parish bulletin, I introduced myself and quickly got very "good vibes" from her...& I was looking for a new GOOD dentist. During my initial consultation, we discussed some of my ongoing issues...& she was able to immediately identify that a lot of of had to do with my teeth alignment (lack of proper overbite). My grinding of teeth at night was degrading them over time leading to problems. "Dr Candy" counseled me to have Fast Braces & I agreed. It was less than 6 ms that I wore them and my bite was transformed to align correctly. Then, I had several new crowns installed and had two implants done --both involving some necessary bone growth/grafting restructure. Dr. Winer explained everything that he was going to do. After the Novacaine and being numbed, he proceeded to take out the two bad teeth. There was very little blood and absolutely no pain. Today I woke up and after following his instructions, I had no swelling and very little pain. I would highly recommend using Dr. Winer for your periodontic needs.

The post op instructions left much to be desired for clarity and feasibility. The assistant had to make SIX molds for the bridge before she got it right. It took way too long. Yes, their mind is on the dollar the whole time - it is so obvious. Other than that, you might think they are actually nice. I would recommend them for dental hygiene (and it will cost you a small fortune) but not for dentistry - the rest of your net worth .
