The food is great every time. Make sure you get an open faced sandwich. It's a very unique dining experience, like going back into the 1940's (that how I imagine it anyway). If you've never been there before, when you walk in go to the back of the store and there should be a menu on the counter. Put in your order, then go pick out your chips and beverage. Find a seat if you can, then enjoy! It usually takes about 15 minutes to get your food unless it's busy. read more

I worked a job close to town for a week and had to stay in Huron.i stopped into what looks like an old liquor store. it's not just that though it's a full on meat deli and let me be honest! Want a sandwich? Come here. I've never had cream cheese on a sandwich, it was tasty. They slice their meat and cheese and it's a little grocery so bag of chips and a soda, you have lots of choices. Stopped here while in town to hunt pheasants. Saw them on Yelp and decided to check it out. Sandwiches are mostly open face and many are on a bagel but we found them to be different but very good! People there were friendly and welcoming. Has a family bar type atmosphere. A local adult hangout. We did takeout. Prices were reasonable. read more
