I'll admit, when you walk into a place known more for wings and burgers, a California burrito probably isn't the first thing you think about ordering. Being from Southern California, I decided to take a chance on it, and I'm glad I did. This burrito took me right back to California. The steak was cooked perfectly, it had just the right amount of heat, and the pico de gallo was seriously out of this world. I paired it with the street corn, and the whole meal reminded me of sitting near the Santa Monica Pier enjoying some of the Mexican food I grew up with. Beyond the food, Manny's just has a cool vibe. Great energy, cold beer, and a staff that was attentive without constantly hovering. They also knew the menu and were great with recommendations. If you've driven past Manny's or thought it was just another wings and burger place, give it a shot. And take a chance on the California burrito. Brought my parents here for dinner and we had a great experience! The service was friendly, the music was at the perfect volume, and the atmosphere was excellent. The indoor seating with the garage doors open is a great touch, you get that outdoor patio feel while still enjoying the AC. We started with the cheese curds, which were delicious, and tried two different orders of empanadas, which were also excellent. For our meals, we had the chicken quesadilla, pulled pork sandwich, and grilled buffalo chicken wrap. Everything was tasty, and there was a nice variety for everyone. Overall, a great place with good food, friendly service, and a really comfortable atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out! read more

Manny's is a new-ish sports bar in the heart of downtown South Bend, Indiana, a mid-sized college town (and my future home!). My boyfriend and I met some friends to watch the Portugal vs Columbia match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in June 2026. The weather was perfect so Manny's was open up to the outside so this open plan concept meant that there was plenty of seating and pets could join in the fun! I will make sure to bring my dog here next time. My sweet, little old doggy is very social so he would love to come here! There are soooo many huge TVs all around the space. According to their website, they have 30+ TVs, plenty of seating, and quite a few indoor games like basketball and darts. We didn't make reservations but also didn't need to wait for a table. Our waitress was new and inexperienced and forgot to get us ice water, coasters, and later on, silverware and napkins. I went up a few times to ask for these from the bar staff. So the vibes were great and the service was meh... how was the food? For drinks, I got the "Here Comes the Bloom" ($12), an Empress gin cocktail and my bf got the spicy pineapple tequila cocktail ($12), which I wasn't a fan of. But I liked mine! They also have a few sports-themed signature cocktails on their menu. The four of us then shared chips and a trio of dip ($10, paid by the other couple) for an appetizer. The queso was very yummy! If the chips were warmed up, this would have been epic. As for the mains, I got a taco salad with shredded chicken and no olives ($14). Not a healthy salad by any means but I thought the portion was good and the veggies fresh. My bf got the Latin salad with shredded chicken ($10 + $5 for added chicken). He had previously gotten the cilantro lime bowl ($10 + $5 for chicken) a few months ago and couldn't decide which he liked better. Our friends ordered a burger + kettle chips drizzled with garlic sauce ($13) and 6 boneless wings ($10). They liked the burger but thought the wings were just average. Overall, the food was above average bar food but we will definitely be back here again! It is a great location to watch a big sports game and the offerings from the attached taco truck look very enticing. Plus, they graciously gave us a $20 off $50 coupon at the end of our meal which was such a lovely gesture. I don't watch too much sports, but when I do, I like watching them in places like these. This Manny's Sport's Bar review is all about SERVICE. We've all have experienced good and bad service to which we base our gratitude with a tip when signing the bill. But what do you do if you don't receive ANY service? Short of going into the kitchen to pick up our orders, we did everything ourselves. This past weekend we arrived in South Bend and found Manny's that was within walking distance to our A-B&B. We dined there on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It was on Saturday this event took place. We were in town for the football game and no, there was NO drinking before, during and after the game. Our party consisted of one early 60 Y/O, one late 50 Y/O and one early 30 Y/O. We walked to and from the game which was about 1.7 miles each way. Our first beer was at the restaurant which we arrived about just after 8:00(?)PM. The restaurant was busy as expected and we were happy to find a table. We sat at a table with a long bench facing a giant wall television. The previous parties' chips, salsa and water glasses had not been cleared. It was about 10 minutes later when I went to the bar and ordered three beers. I was being genuine when I asked if there was table service at the bench or should we order food from the bar. I asked because of the location of the bench tables and explained to her I understood that it was busy at the time (although I did see empty table and there wasn't a line to get in). The female bartender said we should have a waitress, and she knew who it was, and she would send her over to the table. I thanked her, paid for the beers left a generous tip and returned to our table. A waitress quickly passed by, and a busser washed down tables at each end of the long bench (one being right next to us). When our table wasn't cleaned, I then went over obtained the towel and wiped down the table while the other person removed the plate and waters from the previous customer. After another long wait two people sat next to us, a waitress took an order and walked away. Still no waitress arrived so, one of us went to the bar and ordered nachos and three beers from a male bartender. The busser/food server brought over the nachos (8:40pm) and started to walk away. One of us asked if we could get some napkins. At this point we still don't have water, utensils or any small plates. Meanwhile the people next to us received their small order of wings, no napkins and no utensils. I gave then a handful of our napkins that had just arrived. At one point the other customers asked a waitress for some water. She arrived with two glasses of ice, filled one of the glasses and then she walked away with the water jug. The man at the table got up and went to retrieve the jug of water to fill the other glass. As he turned to return the jug, I suggested to just leave if on the table, which he did. At this point we finished the nachos, which we had to eat off of napkins because we didn't receive plates. We decided that we would need to return to the bar, to order our second beer and our meal. Because we never received a menu, we all ordered Manny-burgers. This was the only thing we could remember from the menu. Not too long the food server brought the burgers/fries to the table and started to walk away. We called out to him and asked for some ketchup, which he brought right over. I then went and picked up one of those table baskets that held salt, pepper, salsa, etc. We then realized that we don't have utensils. So, one of us walked over to the bar and let them know, to which the male bartender pointed and said they're right there. When we finished, the person that was ordering our food and drinks at the bar went back over and closed out his tab. He returned and stated that he put a line through the TIP line and signed off. A few days after returning home, he checked his CC statement and saw that someone at Manny's helped themselves a TIP. He will be making a call to the restaurant and then to the CC company if need be. SO, if this isn't the epidemy of terrible restaurant service than I don't know what is and BTW, as I visited the restroom the other two of us bussed our own table. We were in town from Knoxville for the Notre Dame game and were looking for a great place to watch the Georgia Tech vs. Tennessee game on Saturday. We stopped in Friday night to check this place out, and we couldn't have picked a better spot! The place had plenty of TVs, great food and drinks, and an awesome atmosphere. Everyone was friendly, and it had exactly the kind of fun, welcoming vibe you want when watching a game. While we were there Friday night, we happened to meet a couple, and one of them worked at the restaurant. We told her we were looking for a place to watch the Tennessee game after the Notre Dame game on Saturday, and she went above and beyond to help us out. When we came back Saturday, she had two spots at the bar reserved for us and made sure the Tennessee game was on for my buddy. That kind of personal attention and hospitality is what really stood out to us. We will definitely be back. read more

We want to love this place because we always try to support neighborhood businesses, but the service outside the bartenders is always indifferent at best. It's especially disappointing because the food is good and the same owners do such a great job at The Lauber. This place is never busy so you'd think they'd be reasonably attentive and friendly, but not so much. On our most recent visit we wanted to use our rewards points because they really push using them at either restaurant at The Lauber but our relatively charm-free server said Manny's doesn't take them. No "let me check" or some minor accommodation, just "sorry". But we got points on our dinner? Even before construction Manny's rarely drew a crowd and now I get it. If this place wants to be as successful as its sister, they need to find staff that at least pretends to like their job. read more

While I harbor some sadness about the death of the Garage, Manny's is a very great replacement! They have a great drinks menu, and a robust menu with vegetarian options! It is really nice that all the servers chip in on the tables, if you need anything you get it really quick! The decoration is really cool, I am a fan of the clay tennis court that extends up the wall! It is bright and clean with many TVs, with a range of matches and games on! read more

Awesome sports bar, but the server Morgan's behavior was unacceptable Manny's deserves five stars... the food and atmosphere were amazing. But our server, Morgan, completely ruined the experience. She had a terrible attitude from the start, acted annoyed at every request, and multiple tables around us noticed the same thing. She threw a straw at our friend when they politely asked for one, and later rolled her eyes when another friend said "thank you" for her drink. That's not just bad service... it's disrespectful. The only bright spot was Aaron, who stepped in and completely made up for her behavior. He was kind, attentive, and the definition of great service. We'll be reaching out to management, because a restaurant as good as Manny's shouldn't be dragged down by service like Morgan's. read more

Fun, casual, friendly atmosphere with a variety of interesting seating options (bar, booths, tiny tables, big tables, benches, indoor, outdoor) and exceptional service. The bone-in wings were delicious. I recommend Manny's Sauce (bacon garlic parmesan.) The final bonus was getting to play pool afterwards. read more
