Joe was very courteous and patient but was able to quickly diagnose our dryer issue. He gave me a quote and said he could repair it right then and there. We need warm and dry clothes so of course we said go for it! Within another 15 minutes, all was fixed and as good as new! Thank you Joe! The gentle man that I was speaking with on the phone said it sounded like the microwave door latches needed to be replaced. When the technician Joe showed up at my house the next day he stunk like a cigarette. He preceded to take pictures of the serial number on the appliance. In conversation I told him that the same Kitchen Aid microwave that I have is currently 499.00 dollars at Lowes . He then told me with out doing any diagnoses that the repair was going to be 450.00 dollars so I was better off just buying a new microwave. He also said nowadays the microwaves that they manufacture are throwaways and that when they go bad you throw them out and replace them with a new one. Now if that is the case why didn't the gentleman on the phone when I called them explain that to me. It seems to me they just wanted the 121.00 dollar service call fee that I paid them. Ironically I looked up on line the prices of the switches and they were 24.99 each. I also took apart the control panel and cleaned the switches and now the microwave door switches work fine. I also wanted to add that we used Georges appliance repair in the past and we had no issues. So we were not a first time customer. When I called Georges after I fixed the latches I got nothing but a lot of crap from the gentleman that I spoke to on the phone.

    Hosed by Sears Repair Service twice this week on a clothes dryer repair--arrival time changed…read morethroughout the day only to be cancelled and told to reschedule by an AI Bot. Day 2 mid afternoon rolled around (no Sears update)--came across Cupo Appliance Repair's number on-line. Called to see if I could establish a back-up plan. Immediately was connected to a human being (Joe) who was not only knowledgeable in what likely was the issue with our dryer, but had the parts on hand (OMG, right?), was able to provide an estimate of costs, and said you will have a working dryer by the end of the day (insert the sound of angels singing). We then scheduled service for 4 p.m. Called Joe back to confirm Sears cancelled again and shortly Joe was on his way to our home. Dryer was fixed in no time flat, he even helped us with a cabinet door. Joe is courteous, professional, knowledgeable, had the dryer up and running quickly, offered service at a reasonable price, and I highly recommend contacting him when you are in need of an appliance repair. I did not see all the 5-star reviews until later and I can say I believe they were all well earned and well deserved. Thank you, Joe!

Unfortunately the cost for the repair parts and installation woild be very high. It would be better to get a new machine. Technician was honest and upfront. Had to be charged for the service call but appreciate the honesty.
