We enjoyed the patio during our 1st visit but this time around it was a little too breezy so we claimed a cozy booth inside. We tried the Jam IPA and Noble Pilsner during this visit and both were great! We haven't had a chance to try the food yet, but everything we saw coming out looked delicious. The service was also super friendly. It's such a nice place to relax and hang out while we were waiting for our AirBnB to be ready and we would definitely stop again the next time we're in town!

Bigger kids can play in the pretend house (with a real piano), grocery store, doctor's office, etc. while smaller kids can play with the water table, crawl in the low maze, etc. My daughter could spend an entire day here if it weren't for nap time! We came when she was about 14 months old and she loved it. I think kids as old as first or second grade would also enjoy this!

They have many creative cocktails and local beers. As a person who loves fine wines we wish they had a more diverse selection.from beyond Minnesota. It's just a lost opportunity for them. We are pleased just sticking to draft beers and cocktails and skipping the wines. Another like is the array of local musicians who play there to add to the ambience. The staff is hard working and as a former hospitality consultant it looks like the servers should stick to selling and serving with a busser clearing soiled dishes. Too man times servers are challenged by orders ready and they are diligently clearing and cleaning. These concerns are minor compared to the Magic of this great place. We will continue to make it a favorite

There were quite a few people for a Monday afternoon but still plenty of slots available. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and well run the place was. With quite a few employees to help you play the games. A rather small eating and bar area but lots of TVs to catch all your favorite teams. I didn't take a lot of pics because I thought they might frown on that and I didn't want to get thrown out of my first casino in many many years! IRA is the Itasca Recreation Association, a civic group started many years ago to build an arena to support youth hockey. The locals have done a great job! You are greeted with boozhoo, a welcome greeting in Ojibwe and enter a large common area with access to both rinks, bench and booth seating, banners of local hockey heros and concessions. The main arena is a gem. Wooden beams, championship banners, seating on four sides with one end viewing from heated second floor lobby and large posters of local kids who played college, NHL and Olympic hockey. If this rink does not impress you, nothing much will. Rink two is a standard second rink in a rectangle building likely also used for non-hockey events, trade shows and conferences. It's heated for fans and has much smaller bleachers than rink one. Rink three is the covered outside rink. This is a real beauty. Stands, fresh air, wind and sunshine, access to indoor arena, lockers and other arena amenities. I wish MN had more of this covered yet open ice. For the hockey fan, this building is packed with trophies, some really old, and also a lot of great history. Not just the posters of NHLers from GR, but history of the arena, and those who built this monument to youth activities.
