Recently saw a movie with my young son at this theater for the first time, and I was impressed! The employees were very friendly and helpful, and the environment was clean and calm. Each screening room has reclining chairs for the same price as many of the other local theaters that do not. Being a taller woman, I was excited to see how much more legroom each seat had. I was way more comfortable watching a 2+ hour movie here than anywhere else. I live about 30 minutes from this theater but will return here for any future screening because once you get a taste of comfort, you don't go back! read more

I'm sad this theater only has 2 stars. We go here to take our daughter to movies when it's raining at our cabin. The theater is always clean. Staff is friendly and it's cheap! It's pretty tricky to see a movie in the city with kids and have it be under $100. We also like the huuuge red recliner chairs for seats. That's nice. The decor is outdated, but it adds to the charm. This theatre was clean and the many young people working at the counters were helpful and courteous. The seats were very nice and comfortable, and the ticket prices were much cheaper than we are used to paying in Denver. I am happy to have this theatre in town and will be back soon. We love our local theater and visit it often. It is ALWAYS clean, fully staffed, great prices and you don't have to wait in long lines. The recliners are very nice--we have been visiting this theater for over 14 years and have never had a bad experience! So glad to have this available in our community. read more

Rude customer service here. The boy who was taking the tickets treated us like we had never been to a movie theatre before, like we were stupid. We are from out of town and we didnt know that we couldn't bring our just purchased Caribou coffee in to the theater, just as we do in the theatres we frequent in the different towns we see movies at. We had to throw our hot coffee away. The theatre also wasnt ready 15 min before the movie started. We will not come here again. Rude. read more

I had a good experience at this theater. Our family was in town visiting family over the Thanks Giving holiday. We decided to check out a late movie since grandpa & grandma (in Deer River) go to bed early. I have to admit, I expected a super small, out-of-date, small town hick theater. We were pleasantly surprised. The screen sizes were fine, the seats were nice and big, the whole place seemed very clean, and the staff were all very nice and professional. I was denied a ticket sale simply because my date did not have ID on them, despite me being the purchaser of the tickets. They had already purchased snacks and a beverage. The movie selection wasn't interesting enough outside of the film we wanted to see, wasted a trip into town. read more

Older establishment, high ticket & food prices, & fyi infant children aren't allowed in any rated R movies... we were told this after we had purchased our tickets and bought our food and beverages. They refunded us for our tickets but it was nice we had to buy the over priced beverages and then be told after we aren't allowed in the movie...so I appreciated that (insert sarcasm) read more

I rarely go to movies because I'm cheap, and most movies these days are too "formula" (not the theaters fault of course). But was anxious to see "Ford vs. Ferrari" so off we went. I was pleased and surprised to be greeted to a theater with brand new leather, electric reclining seats! Roomy and ridiculously comfortable! With a ton of aisle room for people going in and out, even with the seats fully reclined! The theater sound for this movie was excellent as well. All in all an excellent, enjoyable experience. my enemy and i were in the bathroom (keep in mind we are lady's) and a male walked out of the stall. (it smelled terrible). i also had a throbbing headache so i went to get some advil and it was EXPIRED IN 2014. i'm sure none of the people that work there know that you can't sell it after it's expired date. i mean just look at the people working there. have a nice day. read more

Nice staff. Clean theaters. Expensive prices...and wish they put movie times in the newspaper! Not the most current "A" list movies.
