Pluemer's is by far one of the biggest antique stores in northern Minnesota…read more I've been to Pluemer's many times and I'm always impressed with the huge number and variety of antiques packed into this building. It has a giant first floor and a half 2nd floor balcony area. The west side is mostly one vendor that specializes in high quality automotive and advertising type items. The prices in this area are pretty high. You won't find any deals here. He's definitely charging what you'd expect as "full-retail" in a major metropolitan area antique store. But he does have some nice stuff. The east side (and the 2nd floor) is mostly filled with the owner's items. This area has a big variety of merchandise and a lot of things you'd typically see at an antique mall. But there's a LOT of it. According to the owner, he once sold furniture out of this building -- hence, the name and the sign. But now it's 99.9% antiques with only a few antique or vintage pieces of furniture. If you're interested in antiques, I recommend stopping in if you're in the Grand Rapids area. -Daddy Maxx Retro

And you can personalize a message and pick the way you want to display your tree... I put it in a green tube with green end caps and a sage green ribbon, it was really pretty! These people were so nice - they called me when they caught an error, everything was dealt with professionally and with ease. My trees arrived right when they were supposed to, 100% healthy and in-tact. I'm not sure how many of my guests planted their trees, but at they very least you're supporting an oxygen-producing farming practice. Also, side-note: the tubes I selected for the trees were later used as a relay-race handoff during some sort of drunken challenge in a church parking lot, so these can be real fun!

We needed to come back after purchasing for pick-up, and when we arrived back staff went out of their way to help us get the tree bundled up for a safe ride home. The tree was also cheaper than anticipated, and far larger than I believed our price range would accommodate.

Of course, thinking it was covered for one year under warrantee, returned tree at end of season with hopes of replacement. But alas, tree not covered because I didn't plant within 24 hrs of purchase. Didn't plant the other trees within 24 hrs either and they're all fine. 1. As I was told by a staff person, the owners will not contact you. Apparently, they'd rather have staff handle customer service issues. 2. There is no resolution, no call, no replacement-nothing. 3. Customer service is a one way street. Apparently, there is no concern for the customer, just the bottom line. Very disappointing.
