I thought it was pretty good... just enough butter on it (okay, so maybe alot). They have the little seasoning station like other theatres, so you can put the ranch seasoning, etc on your popcorn. (I didn't try... but my Dad likes that stuff.) We went to the 7pm show on Oscar night, and it was pretty bare. Couple that with the snowstorm... and we were only 6 people in the theatre. Nice... The theater has a wonderful nostalgic feel with its vintage decor and classic concession stand. Ticket prices are very reasonable, especially compared to the big chain theaters. The snacks and drinks are also affordable, so you can enjoy a night out without breaking the bank. The popcorn is made fresh in an old-fashioned popper and is absolutely delicious. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They provide great customer service and make you feel right at home. The seating is comfortable and the sound and picture quality are excellent. Whether you're a local or just passing through, the Cozy Theatre is a must-visit. They were showing 4 movies which were the most recently released. Seats were high backs but not reclining chairs. Theater was good sized and had good sound. We got there right when the movie started so not sure if they showed previews but loved sitting down and having the movie start right away. Staff was friendly. Popcorn was delicious. Loved that they were making it fresh when we got ours. Overall, nice smaller theater to enjoy a movie. Only open Tuesday and weekends.

Best of all, the seats are modern cushioned recliners. So comfy! You can order tickets in advance online but of course that comes with an online fee too. $5.50 for Tuesday night showings is a steal! All movies, all day, with an additional charge for 3D movies. Also on Tuesdays, get a free 44oz popcorn with the purchase of any drink! Caught a Tuesday evening showing of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse which I would say had the theater more than half full. They were also showing Little Mermaid, Transformers, and Guardians of the Galaxy, and had ads for Elemental. No complaints at all with the movie projection/sound, cleanliness of the place, etc. Must be summer vacation and was also a good way to escape the Canadian wildfire smoke that week.
