MANNA'S IS AMAZING!
If I could award more stars, I would.
The staff and volunteers here (I volunteered for a little bit while I was going to college) are amazing angels. They accept everyone and don't ask for anything from you.
They offer meals to those who can't afford them. The meals and fantastic, too. While volunteering here, they told me and my friend to sit down and have some lunch. Let me tell you that the lunch they cooked up in that magic kitchen was some of the best food ever. Like, it puts your mom and grandmother's cooking skills up for scrutiny.
The place is so clean - they thrive on cleanliness.
The parking lot isn't very large, but it's clean and serves it's purpose.
There is a play section for children.
There are showers if you need to use them.
The bathrooms are clean.
If you have food that you aren't going to eat - please donate it - Manna's can put it to use and help a bunch of people.
If you're looking for something selfless to do - volunteer at Manna's. Even if it's not that often, a little helps a lot.
I really wish I was still in Durango. I missed helping and volunteering - and Manna's was the most fulfilling place to volunteer! read more
