Max capacity would be 240, but it would hold about 140 with a large dance floor. The bar is attached to the barn with a grain bin which is so cool as it doesn't look like a grain bin! The owners, Chris and Jeff, have put their heart and soul into making it a success and it shows. There are packages if you're looking for a wedding venue, Christmas party venue, or just need a larger area to throw your event. They have also partnered with the Wyndham Garden (8016 Sparrow Drive in Leduc) for not only special room rates, but also shuttle service. The outdoor cement pad has two nice wood burning stoves which are nice if you want to be outside and it's a bit chilly. They also have the option of a portable bar outside as well. The owners are super friendly and very accommodating so make sure to give them a call to book your tour of their venue!

In my and my husbands opinion Whitewood Barn is the perfect wedding venue for a rustic chic type of couple. Chris and her family we're very accommodating and provided great recommendations such as our photographer @pinkskyphotography and Ryan at RAD Media. They made our day feel special and when it unexpectedly fell cold, they made our guests feel at home and cozy with our homemade cider. They went to great lengths to ensure everything ran on time and to make sure my husband didn't see me until I walked down the isle. From helping me "fluff" my dress to my liking and making sure the groomsmen put the boutonnières on properly they were there every step of the way to make our day perfect. When we signed the agreement and made the deposit, it was very clear that it was non refundable, which we were completely fine with! This is how businesses survive! Ensuring they have profit to keep up with the maintenance of this beautiful venue. If it was easy everyone would have a whitewood barn. Due to the unfortunate COVID-19 pandemic, I can see how some people may be frustrated about not getting their money back. However, knowing Chris I can guarantee she has been trying her best to make accommodations based on the available dates. Please don't forget that behind these venues there are families that are trying to desperately keep their businesses intact! So please be kind and support this venue.

Highly would recommend this event for anyone interested in learning about growing anything The venue itself is gorgeous every single wall has some piece of art on it that is breathtaking, there are a couple of smaller businesses That reside in the space as well as studios for artists. I learned that there are paint nights hosted by the very man who panted many of the paintings in the space so expect something creative to flow from that class. Whether you need a large space for a cocktail party or a boardroom for an important meeting you can rent the space through their site, I know I'll be checking it out

The atmosphere is really nice and relaxed. The staff are great. I've never had an unfriendly server or bad service at Ritchie Mill. The food here is decent. It's nothing to write home about, but it's not too shabby. Ritchie Mill is unique so it's a cool place. If you're looking for a chilled out place to hang with friends - check it out. If you're looking for a nice dinner, I'd go elsewhere.

I liked that there was seating for those that wanted to sit and standing tables as well for those that were mingling around the room. The lighting was well suited to the room and I found the temperature just right. I find that for events like this, it's important to have a comfortable room where people don't feel too warm or cold. The bar was situated in the middle of the room and I found that the setup was just well thought out for traffic flow. Speaking of traffic flow, I like that there was ample parking for attendees.

There were cocktails in the front area when we arrived where people could mingle and check out the huge fish tank! Once we proceeded in for dinner we found all of the tables beautifully set. The food was amazing, and the room was prefect for the awards presentation. Everything was well decorated, well lit and the stage was set up perfectly. It's also one of the few venues in Edmonton that can hold 350 people! I was extremely impressed with the Oasis Center as a venue and would definitely consider holding events here in the future!
