There is street parking or a lot parking available. I do recall one year due to the Marlin tournament. Parking was difficult and we did park a few blocks away. Overall the walk was not bad and it was well worth it. I recommend bringing chairs or a blanket. If you plan to stay a while. On Sundays, they have a live band, ice cream for purchase, a playground, pond, and lots of open grass for family and friends to enjoy. Everyone's favorite part is the Sunday fireworks show. The show is great! We will continue to add this park to our Sunday fun day while in Ocean City.

It's geared towards the over 5 crowd, but my toddler managed fine with some assistance from mom and dad. There are 4 swings, 3 benches, and an open area with trees that would be a nice spot to picnic or hang out. The only negative is that the park is right off of the street so be careful if your kids are runners. It's a small park so no bathrooms or anything like that. In addition to multiple childrens play areas, there is a large HUGE pavilion for concerts and parties. Every Thursday during the warm weather, free concerts are held there. The playgrounds are seperate and graduated by age group (baby, preschooler and grade schooler). There are over 40 acres of woodland to explore, in addition to a boat slip that lets you access the canals of the Pines. All in all, this a great, shady (TONS of Pine trees) Park in Ocean Pines.

The giant waterslides are a lot of fun, and the lazy river is one of our favorite attractions. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. Another great feature is the small boardwalk area just a short walk from the waterpark. You can grab funnel cakes, burgers, pizza, hot dogs, french fries, and ice cream, then bring them back into the park to enjoy. It's a convenient option when everyone gets hungry after spending time in the water. Overall, Thunder Lagoon is a fun, family-friendly waterpark that we look forward to visiting year after year. Although both are basically separate entities from the park, I HIGHLY recommend the ferris wheel and the haunted house attractions. Both provided great fun for my group and the view on the ferris wheel is truly breathtaking day or night. There was also a really friendly operator on one of the rides (I think it was the car one right next to the ferris wheel), but I cannot for the life of me remember their name.

We've done other water parks in the area, and nothing in Ocean City comes close to the size of Splash Mountain. The Jolly Roger theme park next door is downright sad, but this water park is well worth your time.

This park is incredible, I can't believe I'm the first to review it!…read more On our way to Chincoteague, taking a weird direction due to our GPS and with kids breaking down, we decided to pull off the road at the nearby exit and I quickly searched for kids parks on Yelp. This one was really convenient so we proceeded here. Entering through the gates, I thought this must be too good to be true. It's a state run equestrian, ball fields, kids play area, restrooms and nature trails park. Equestrian center might be two words but this is one of the nicest I have seen, with beautiful manicured grass fields, several barns and administration buildings, it just seemed to go on and on for acres! I was really impressed.
