The service is unmatched. Alterations are included and you will look DIVINE with their fashion accessory expertise. I purchased day wear AND ceremonial attire from them.

If you're looking for a personalized experience to find your outfit for your next Indian event, this is the spot!!!! A lovely couple has been running this store for the past 30 years and knows exactly what they're doing. My partner and I came in looking for outfits for a wedding. We showed them a couple of pictures of what we were looking for and within a few minutes they delivered. They make sure you are fitted and offer alterations if needed (which I did!). They were able to alter my top in just 2 days in time for me to take to the wedding. They also have accessories for purchase. LOVE my yellow outfit and red bangles, received so many compliments. Great value as I spent ~$250 for everything. I will definitely be back for my next event and highly recommend!

Whitey over here, came in really confused and the owners kindly helped me pick the perfect fit for my first Indian wedding. I ended up coming back to exchange my skirt for a different color (to match the wedding theme) and they let me do so no problem. I appreciated their willingness to make sure I was happy with my outfit. They had a really wide variety for both men and women. And they taught me how to wear everything and even added safety pins to the shawl to make sure I put it on right for the event. My husband also got his outfit here. Prices range but I spent about $200 for my saree.

We were next door at Manisha Jeweler's and because my niece had yet to get bridesmaid outfits made, which were to be traditional Indian, wandered in here happenstance (turns out the owner of this shop is the brother of the jewelry store), btw., it astonishes me the incredibly enterprising and hardworking nature of immigrants everywhere ... so we wander in here, with no idea of what to expect, and man oh man, were they awesome. They do all kinds of outfits, from saris to length's to gaga chorus to .. name it and they do it--custom, completely measured with the sizes of your needs, and in the designs and materials and colors of your choice. A huge selection of swatches, patterns, a dizzying array and assortment. My niece and sister in law chose a maroon and gold patterned/embroidered skirt set, which they promised to deliver a sample within a month, according to the measurements of my niece. I spied a cute little top which the ischia was so incredibly vibrant, almost a neon, which I figured with denim leggings, might be versatile and adorable. It was only $20, and because it had a slight little mark on it, which btw., made me not want to get it, the owner knocked off $5, and I don't think it was so much the money saved, but more the customer service and their largesse, which is why ultimately I did buy it. Technically, my sister in law bought it for me, because they accept only debit cards, and we not only did not have that, but also were not carrying cash ... so. Their customer service and willingness to help, their openness and flexibility with all the things my niece needed, plus my own little top, all awesome. They're located next to the Manisha jeweler's and a seedy little bar/joint, along with the ubiquitous vegetarian restaurant, alongside an all Angus meat shop. No joke. I mean. You just can't make this shit up. The good news, is despite the bizarre juxtaposition of businesses in a row, because all of these are in a little strip mall, there's plenty of free parking.

If you need some amazing indian attire, look no further. This place has a ton of options at a reasonable price, plus they do free alterations. I went to India and Sri Lanka and all of my friends there were amazed at my outfits. They couldn't believe I was able to find such beautiful dresses in California! On top of that, the couple that owns the shop is super sweet and really helpful.

    Saree from Manisha

So glad that I found Manisha. I was attending a Deepavali function and found that I needed/ wanted a saree to wear. However, my schedule has been crazy lately and I couldn't go to Manisha until two days before the event. I am a total noob when it comes to saree purchase or wearing. The lady at the shop was kind enough to walk through what I needed to get and didn't fleece me for it. I am bigger in size plus I have huge arms but she managed to get me fitted in time with a nice blouse that matched my saree perfectly! Got me the matching under skirt and also volunteered to teach me how to wear it! I also purchase the bangles from them to complete the outfit but I turned down the other jewelry part as I am not really into it. Service was great and they didn't fleece me despite my epic noob ness. Also, I received many compliments about how lovely my saree was. Can't beat the experience and feeling pretty in my new saree. Going to have sweet dreams now as I am floating on cloud 9 from all the compliments!

Such a nice couple. Very beautiful sarees, outfits and materials. They had everything I needed for a wedding I attended in October. They even had some nicely priced jewelry. They even helped me put on my saree the right way, which is an art all on its own!

Felt great in my outfit from Manisha's and all of the bride's aunties loved it :)

"Go fu(k yourself "…read more Quote from Peter the owner ( see screenshot ) I am a fan of nice shirts, money is no object. I walked into peters shop to see rows of suits and shirts. I immediately thought of my impending European trip coming up in a few months and thought...perhaps I should get some nice slacks to go with a shirt... A click of employees in the left rear raised their heads to watch me come in. Nothing. No greeting No welcome. No stroll over to see if I need help...I did need help. I walked down a row of garments... Most were covered in plastic...a good sign if you ask me, yet I didn't want to start removing plastic to see the fabric, I felt that would be inappropriate and employee intervention was needed. I looked up several times to either see stares at me, or total dismissal. Clearly the owner was absent! Not a good sign for service. Especially considering I'd need tailoring. I slowly walked out hoping to elicit a response..anywhere from Could we help you? Or Thanks for stopping by.. Nothing. I posted a review on yelp( see screen shot picture ) And was told " vafanculo" Italian for " go fu(k yourself " I do believe the owner is responding with anger towards a negative review, When his attention should be on his employees who came up short. True class would be to apologize for his employees laziness. Peter let his true Italian colors shine with his response.

I rented mine back then and always dreamed of having my own. My daughter has her own but she has grown out of it already and needed a new one for the dolchanchi we are attending in December. Thanks to Yelp I found Mizland and went there tonight. I was greeted by 3 beautiful ladies who all helped my daughter and I pick out and try on several colorful hanboks. Although my Korean is limited to only 10 words I was glad that I was able to communicate what I wanted and needed plus these ladies spoke good English. I was happy that we could all understand each other. They helped us find the perfect one! We even bought norigae, a pink coin purse and two pairs of the flower shoes. I forgot to ask if they have any white beoseon socks. Mrs. Yang (and the other ladies) was so kind and sweet to us. She will hem my daughter's hanbok and I can't wait to pick it up in a few weeks! However, I would say the service during the ceremony was very unpolite and unprofessional. When we first started and my mom sat down, she asked my mom if we had tip money ready. She didn't guide us through the proper sitting or allowing us to pour the Korean wine. I felt rushed even though we limited it to our parents and not extended relatives. And all of my Korean relatives noticed my hat not being properly sized. In the end, I wanted to give an unique experience for our guests which was accomplished. However, I personally was caught off guard by the poor service and feeling rushed. There are alternatives vendors in Koreatown LA that will also fly into the Bay. So you can keep those providers in mind for a great experience
