Holy smokes, this place is for real! They advertise fresh pasta that could rival any dish from Italy. Okay, a tad bit of an exaggeration, but the owner who was there was from Italy and brought a lot of the techniques he learned over there to Berlin.
The menu is not the largest, but big enough to give you plenty of choices. I ended up ordering the Arrabini pasta with cheese, which was delightful and I could fully agree that it rivals dishes I had while in Italy. Thing is, nothing comes close to Italian dishes from the motherland as I truly believe the water plays into the final product. Anyways, prices are affordable, even the truffle shaving dishes. They serve wine, but limited, but the stall in located in a farmer's market where many stalls sell wine by the glass or bottles, so easy to find what you want if Mani in Pasta does not offer it. Service was quite quick, but it was a slower day, so I cannot say it would be as fast if it were a busy summer day. Ample seating at the Farmers Market with some special dessert based treats nearby, so do not miss out on those!
Wish I could honestly visit Mani in Pasta on a weekly basis, but bookmarked them for future visits! read more
