The 3 stars is basically just for the place itself. It's a great place to meet for bowling or laser tag and at night it's packed and they have music and flashing lanes with tv screens it's fun and I would definitely recommend comming here but book in advance it gets crazy busy especially on a Saturday night ! Ok as for the food I ordered the chicken panini sounds great right ! I don't know what they think a panini is but this wasn't it!This wasn't even close to it! This was a cold sandwhich !!! It was cold chicken on a roll.. Was so bizarre.. So pretty much just a chicken sandwhich for $20!! Insane! Didn't even come with anything! And than the chips; "beer battered"if your a fan than great... So I ordered a Hamburger .. I know right I was like this has to get better for me! So another $18 later out comes this burger with again a COLD bun and the cheese wasn't even melted so cold cheese and the meat ugh... Let's just say the burgers are better at hungry jacks! But they do give you a big serving of chips! So bowling yes! Laser tag! Totally! Food? Maybe eat elsewhere! And when you have to pay $4 for a bottle of water .. Safer to bring your own! But I will definitely be back to Bowl! Hoping the menu changes and they add some pizzas!

I love a…read morebit of the old ten pin, and I am also fond of a beer from time to time, so the idea of having a beer whilst bowling was a strike in my eyes. We had beers and played pool downstairs before heading up to the alley and knocking down those pins, some better than others. What I need to do in order to improve my game is work on not turning my wrist when I release the ball, I had a bit of trouble there, and my friends didn't make it any better, but I reminded them, some of us may be in the gutter, but at least we're looking for the spares. Strike bowling is the perfect place to meet up with friends if you're all keen on throwing large heavy balls down thin wooded aisles to hit a bunch of white pins. If that sounds like you, then this is the place for that. But what it also offers, apart from group packages and functions, is downstairs beside the bar they have a laser tag arena. A simple game where you put on electronic vests and back packs and run around shooting each other through a dark and moody maze in some kind of, as the introduction video states, post apocalyptic world torn apart. Between shooting friends with lasers, bowling gutter balls and drinking beer, Strike Bowling Bar offers a great and different night out.

This wasn't a mistake so much as an inability to accurately take in all the information necessary to make a correct decision. Yes, if I get off the bus at Taylor Square it's only a short walk to Paddington, but no, if I get off the bus it's only a short walk to Paddington bowls. An hour and a quarter later, fighting the clock, trying to get the party on time, I arrive at the Bowling green. Which is, so we're all clear, on the other side of Paddington. Despite being so far from the bus I took, the club is in a great location, a large cliff backs onto the bowling green and provides a natural shade during particular times of the day and we're only moments away from the water, which is always a very nice feeling. The food is gourmet and the general atmosphere is one of relaxation and enjoyment, despite the fierce competition taking place. Since bowling has become somewhat fashionable and more and more take up the sport with or without shoes, the drinks have slowly risen to modern day prices. I recall going to places like the Bowling Club as the last bastion of clubs that would serve schooners of ale at genuine 1972 prices. Gone are the days of $2.50 Crownies. There's a pokies room full of repetitive music and problem gamblers, Keno and a TAB, as well as a large club area where I'm sure they have events on from time to time. Out the back there are two large bowling greens and a car park, though the place is easy enough to get to by public transport should you review the available information adequately before leaving the house. (It's only a couple of blocks from Edgecliff Station.)

And if Barney Stinson has taught us anything, it's that you're never too old for laser skirmish! Once you get over the fact that your twice as old as your competitors, it's actually pretty fun! OK, it may be more for kids parties, but get enough mates together and you'll have a laugh anyway. But be prepared, the kids can be sneaky - they manage to hide in smaller spaces! Prices start at $12 for one game (or battle as they call it) but you can get 3 for $26 - by which point you'll realise that kids are much fitter than you are.

When my nephews came visiting, I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to have fun. The little brats were all over the place, running, shooting, aiming in the dark and hitting me out multiple times. Every time someone shoots you out, your gun becomes inactive for 5 seconds and that gave my other nephew just enough time to knock me out again! Aargh!! Did I have fun?? Yes, lots! There is something exciting about skirmish and ambush without feeling a prick of pain. My ego is heavily bruised though.. It is a small space, but surprisingly, all the running around can count as a mini workout.

I got some chips and they had no salt on the. Trying to track down some sauce took longer than it should have. The game selection is good, but then maybe 1/4 of them were out of order. The cocktails we got looked really fancy, but then didn't have a lot of taste to them other than the alcohol. When waiting in line for drinks, someone obviously cut in front of me to order shots and the bartender just let him and served him first. This is a big pet-peeve of mine. It's not hard to serve people in the turn in which they are lined up. And, if people are cutting and being childish, you don't have to serve them out of turn. Also, one of their staff really talked down to me when I asked where the bathroom was, and he wouldn't tell me where it was until I brought my glass back into the bar area. Apparently, glass isn't allowed out in the game area, but then maybe they should use disposable or non-breakable cups. I just think that, as a woman, it's a safety issue not to want to leave your drink somewhere unattended, or even with people you might know. You don't know who you can trust, or who you can't, and the policy here doesn't really allow for you to responsibly keep an eye on your drink and enjoy what they have to offer at the same time. I think I'll pass on going back to this place.
