I've always wanted to experience Paintball Skirmish, but when I heard it can cause a bit of a sore next morning, I decided to try Laser Skirmish first. When my nephews came visiting, I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to have fun. The little brats were all over the place, running, shooting, aiming in the dark and hitting me out multiple times. Every time someone shoots you out, your gun becomes inactive for 5 seconds and that gave my other nephew just enough time to knock me out again! Aargh!! Did I have fun?? Yes, lots! There is something exciting about skirmish and ambush without feeling a prick of pain. My ego is heavily bruised though.. It is a small space, but surprisingly, all the running around can count as a mini workout. read more

Went here with colleagues on Friday night for a corporate event and didn't really know what to expect. I had never played laser tag before and had heard it was fun but it surpassed my expectations. Because there were about 25 of us we had the whole place to ourselves for 2 rounds. The rounds went about 15 minutes each but feel like 5 minutes so definitely book in for more than one! The price seemed reasonable at about $12 bucks per game. I suppose now thinking about it that's almost a dollar a minute but who cares, it was great. I'm not sure if it would have been AS fun if there were just randoms in there, I really enjoyed shooting people I knew when I turned every corner. We all said we would go back in a heartbeat! read more

This place is amazingly huge for a complex in Darling Harbour, and it's size only makes it more cool. Don't think this is anything for kids, if you're a big kid like myself, and love to battle your inner evil, come and challenge a group of friends to the death (may not actually die) Battle your friends in a game of Laser Tag, then see your scores and photos, move over to the bowling alley and snack on some burgers from the bar. Your amazing night will continue at the Arcade, and after a few beverages, and a couple of games of pool, head out for some dancing close by in the Harbour. Very cool! I expected adrenaline-pumping action, from a place called 'Laser Skirmish'! Instead, what I got was a bunch of kids running around me in the dark, ruining my life. I seriously think there should be some kind of age limit, here. Or at least some kind of warning that freakish little ghouls (the children) are going to be having the run of the place. I mean, how exactly am I supposed to get my battle-face on, when I'm busy trying not to trip over the little monsters? Were it not for the children, it might've been a good, even epic experience. Alas, we will never know now, will we. My suggestion; go when it's past kiddy bedtime. I can only blame myself for waltzing in at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon, and expecting adults. read more

I'm the type of person that will lie about having ever played laser skirmish before. I'll hold the gun at an awkward angle and ask the person next to me if I'm aiming it right. Then in the darkness of the skirmish room, I'll patiently wait for the countdown to go to zero and demolish anyone within range. Mwahaha. I love it. Laser skirmish is the place to go to wage war with a large group of friends, or vent your frustration out on little kid's parties. In all seriousness, you can have a lot of fun here - sessions go by quickly with a five minute debrief (where you pack on your laser arsenal), and fifteen minutes of all out war in the dark.
