That said, we were fortunate to feel that way, in reality, "luck" had nothing to do with it. It was completely due to having our incredible Realtor, Leara Deane, working steadfastly both in front of, and behind the scenes. Leara met us with a wealth of knowledge, patience, proactivity, and integrity, every step of the journey. Below are just a few areas that contributed to the success of our home buying process. Expert in her field We started this journey knowing nothing about the process, what to look for, what questions to ask and certainly what to expect. Leara holds a wealth of knowledge regarding the home buying process, market trends, navigating home inspections, and even spot on interior decorating suggestions. Patience and Professionalism As first-time home buyers it's easy to feel like your questions might be "wasting" your Realtor's time. Leara's steadfast professionalism and genuine patience made us feel at ease during home showings and after. Proactivity In this market you must be pro-active, and Leara embodies the word! She was up for early morning house showings, second showings, showings in a separate part of the Bay Area. Always with a positive friendly attitude. Integrity Leara was always transparent, honest, and kept her word. It made the stressful process so much more enjoyable and straightforward knowing we had a reliable and honest partner speaking on our behalf. In the end, Leara helped us achieve a huge milestone in our lives and successfully purchase a dream home here in the Bay Area! We can't thank her enough for her significant role in making it happen, nor recommend her services more strongly for those looking to do the same!

She's a great choice if you're tackling a purchase/sale in SF, as she will guide you through the particularly byzantine, complex process of buying/selling a home in the city. Beth thinks strategically about every step along the way and capitalizes on every possible offer/opportunity. She's an excellent communicator and deftly connected with us via email, text, DocuSign, zoom and in-person meetings. She is available and responsive around the clock (we're not sure, but we think she sleeps!) and on weekends or weekdays. But most of all, she's a great listener who shapes the process to meet your needs, and her people skills know no bounds. After our first offer pulled out - twice! - Beth mobilized immediately and reconnected with an earlier potential buyer -- making it worth their while to add thousands of dollars to their original offer and resulting in a competitive sale price for our condo.
