Her bedside manner is also exceptional. When I felt dizzy after my blood draw, she didn't rush me at all--she gave me time to recover and even offered to let me return later. She is an excellent and genuinely caring doctor.

I went for an appointment and signed the paperwork ahead of time. When I arrived, I had additional paperwork and if you read the fine print, it's absolutely crazy that they can share your health information and sell or use for educational purposes. You do not have a way to opt out of that. Because I wouldn't sign this, I wasn't allowed to see a doctor and was turned away. I was alright with signing basic paperwork but I didn't want my medical information and photos to be used for data or sharing purposes. Read the fine print everyone. It was very difficult to request even a hard copy to review to bring home with me. I did speak with someone I believe her name was Alexandra? She was very professional and assisted me as best as she could. It didn't change that I couldn't see the doctor when I needed medical assistance. In the past, I have gone for skin screenings here and without being notified or asked- I had a group of five students come into the room when I was laying on a table. This was feedback I provided that was upsetting and in my chart I mentioned in the past that I didn't want this without being asked first.

This did…read morenot mean that the tech should not communicate to me that she wasn't going to do any add ons. Sure she was quiet and skilled but the place is not quiet- there are no doors- just curtains and the client in the room across from me was blabbing away and it was not relaxing. After the facial I inquired about my add ons (as I was interested in the light therapy and dermaplaning) and was told since I used tretnoin, I couldn't get them- this was never mentioned to me so I chose products instead- I wish I had known before as I would have stopped the tretenoin prior) Not sure I'll return, due to the noise and miscommunication but it was an ok experience

I normally go someplace else for facials, but I was curious about HeyDay. My first few impressions here was not the best, but I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and leave some stars, since people seem to like them. Scheduled online which seemed seamless. I had some follow up questions later about my facial and tried calling and left messages. No one seems able to pick up the phone. Fair enough, you're busy, that's good and that's not my issue- but I got no response. As a first impression, this was slightly concerning because to make the appointment required a credit card - but after that any communication feels very difficult. Also, feels kind of like a bait-and-switch a little in terms of what if I needed to cancel? Would I be charged a fee because I tried to cancel and no one would answer or get back to me? What if I had an issue post facial? As you can see, the non responsiveness leaves a bad impression. Finally, due to sheer persistence, I was able to call and reach someone. At that point, I just wanted to cancel my appointment because I didn't want to take any chances and just scheduled at my regular place.

I'd give it 0 star if I could…read more I recently visited Le Bon Skin Lab (UES location) for a routine chemical peel (Blended TCA Peel) and paid $150+ tips. Cleo Chong was the esthetician I met with that day. My long time esthetician is now in Crown Heights which is the reason why I booked with Le Bon due to close proximity. Before I got settled in, Cleo asked repeatedly about my current skincare routine. I explained that I'm pretty diligent when it comes to natural skincare practices and have decent experience/knowledge with active ingredients in my current skincare routine including BHA, AHA, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, Matrixyl, Argireline, retinol/retinoids, etc. Despite explaining that I'm comfortable with the skincare brands/products I'm using, Cleo was trying to sell me on benefits of "PCA skincare." Later I realized that she's an authorized seller of this brand and I was being forced to buy products I don't even need! This was just the beginning. After the "sales meeting" we start the treatment. It began with Cleo telling me that TCA or Jessner isn't the right fit for me, so PCA peel is what I'll be receiving today?!? I was a little taken back but since she was so aggressive, I gave into her request. I remember her saying, "since I have good skin so you should trust me." I couldn't believe my ears! I have been using Jessner/TCA peels for as long as I can remember so I know exactly what to expect immediately following the procedure. I went home after the service and saw little to no effect on my face. Oh, before I left the facility, Cleo made sure that I secure a $230 follow-up appointment in 3 weeks. I contacted Cleo few days later explaining my dissatisfaction and disappointment for not seeing improvements in my skin or hyperpigmentation around my eyes. The only answer I got was, "give it more time." As I'm writing this email, it's been over 3 weeks and there's little to no results from my visit to Le Bon. I'm writing this review to warn anyone out there who might be considering this place for a real chemical peel - do yourself a favor and stay away. There are so many GREAT options in the city so I'm not sure why any business owner would consider running a service business this way. I feel I was tricked into something I don't need and it left a horrible taste in my mouth. Consider this as your warning. In case anyone claims that my review is false/fake, here's the proof which shows the time stamp and the service I paid for. Advice to the business owner: honesty is all it takes to build a genuine relationship with your customers. Don't try to sell me on shit I don't want and try to listen more so you can help me address my problems. You might actually get referrals and customers coming back for more.
