I had a dream that I went to Bed & Breakfast named the Mango Inn in Lake Worth, Florida. It was so magical and so beautiful. The suite had a living room with Netflix, Amazon Prime and drawer full of movies. Full kitchen and patio outside. The bed was king size with beautiful soft and hard pillows. The bathroom had a whirlpool tub and glass enclosure shower. Only thing wish it had grab bars in shower and whirlpool pool tub. The pool was a few steps away surrounded by palm trees and the lobby in the main building and had snacks for free. Cold soda and water, pretzels, chips and candy jar all free. The breakfast was superb with spinach and cheese quiche. Fresh fruit; kiwi, tangerines and apples. Coffee and Tea and yogurt, chocolate muffins, English muffins and choice of juice. Rooms are small but adequate, especially since you won't be spending much time in them. Bring a travel hub to add more outlets so you can plug in all your devices. This gem exudes charm. There are little touches around the property to make the clients more comfortable, e.g., a robe in the bathroom, the nice glassware in the room (I thought they were plastic until I picked one off the shelf), two luggage racks, breakfast on the veranda, etc.,etc.,etc. Most rooms were on the second floor so if you have trouble with stairs book either the Rose or Seascape/Seagrape room or a cottage. If I go back to the area I will try to stay at The Mango Inn. Ioved it and so did my wife. read more

What a lovely bed and breakfast located in the downtown area of Lake Worth. My husband and I decided to stay here for our anniversary and we are so glad we did. The hospitality, accommodations, and food were wonderful. It's in a quiet area while the restaurants as well as shops are within walking distance of the inn and it's believed to be one of the oldest houses in Lake Worth built in 1915. Brenda the innkeeper did a phenomenal job with welcoming us and showing us around the inn as well as our suite. She explained everything and she gave us her contact information in case we needed her during our stay. There are eleven rooms on the property for guests to choose from and a full breakfast is available to enjoy on the veranda overlooking the pretty pool each morning. When we checked in, we were able to help ourselves to some wine and a snack mix consisting of pretzels and mixed candies. We stayed in the Mango Suite and it was very nice. It resided in the Little House portion of the inn. It has a bedroom with a king bed, bathroom with a whirlpool tub and shower, and a kitchenette along with a living room. We even had our own patio from the suite too. It was so charming and I'm glad we were able to stay here for a short time. The breakfast was simply the bomb. There was several different options and we had a sausage frittata for our entree. The fruit, pastries, breads, granola, yogurt, coffee, and juices were delicious too. We were able to meet some guests that were from out of town visiting the area while being outside on the veranda eating our breakfast. Brenda did an awesome job with preparing everything and cleaning up afterwards. The only thing that we did noticed was that the Wifi wasn't connecting to the internet. The router was reset and it still didn't resolve the problem. It wasn't a big deal to us, but it may be for some if they are on a business trip. Besides that, we loved every minute of our stay and we definitely would recommend the hidden gem! This little Bed and Breakfast is a hidden gem. Very quaint and cozy. Extremely clean and just overall a beautiful historic property. Check-in and out was super easy. I messed up and forgot to tell the innkeepers we were attending breakfast but they graciously accommodated us. The innkeepers were very friendly. This was our first bed and breakfast experience and it was adorable! The grounds are so classic south florida in an extremely quiet neighborhood, with just 10 minute walk to restaurants, old town, Publix and a brewery and another 10 minutes to the beach. The owner cooked and served breakfast in the morning and it was delicious (fresh fruit, a shared hot dish, cheese, homemade banana bread). There was a power outage around 8p when we were there and the entire block lost power, and the owner was available by text and was on the phone with the power company and was at our door within 15 minutes with lanterns and to make sure we were ok. Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was so relaxing and we appreciate everything Chet was able to do for us in a tough pandemic situation. read more

I just spent THE most wonderful few days here. My hosts, Chet, Po, Jeff and Randy went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The breakfast on the terrace was really good, and chatting with the other guests just added to the intimate feel of this amazing little gem My room was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to a little strip of bars and restaurants. The beach is 3/4 of a mile away and there is plenty of paid parking. If you are thinking of staying here then definitely do it. Lake Worth on the west side of the inlet is not exactly the hot spot of destinations, which made this a wonderful oasis. I stayed in the bungalow, more than enough room. They have a small pool that no one was using, so I just lounged between appointments. Breakfast was interesting and filling. The manager saw my father visit me and invited him to join breakfast the next day. Would recommend and return to. read more

My fiancé found this AMAZING little piece of paradise to to propose to me! The greenery and serenity makes you feel like you are away from civilization. The rooms are lovely! Built in 1915 but all the modern conveniences! Ours even had a jetted tub! The owner was a gracious host and breakfast was lovely! We've stayed in a bunch of hotels/B&Bs around this area and the Mango Inn is our favorite and our home away from home. For restaurants, I'm all about food quality. For hotels/B&Bs, give me, quiet, comfort and atmosphere, please. Mango Inn is tops for all 3 criteria. It is lovely, relaxing and comfortable. The rooms come in all shapes/capacities. We only need a clean, dark, quiet room with wifi - and they have that. The huge breakfast (fresh, warm, soft scones, anyone?) is served in an area that allows for both inside and porch eating. We love eating outside on the covered porch, rain or shine. The beautiful garden and pool are lovely to behold. I have to admit, having a platter of freshly baked cookies is the #1 way to get a good review from me - and there are always a plate of freshly baked cookies when we check in (if there is a plate that looks like there may have been cookies on it and those are, somehow, missing when you check in, that may be because we checked in before you and the cookies, well, the cookies have left the building...) We'll be back - we have Deb and the Mango Inn on speed dial. read more

We recently rented the entire inn for my mother's 80th birthday. The Mango Inn could not have been more perfect. The inn sits in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood that is just far enough away from the downtown area to make it peaceful but close enough that you can walk to the shops and cafes in 5-10 minutes. The grounds are impeccably maintained and the areas to gather and socialize are beautiful. The three suites each contain a kitchen area and the Pineapple Suite has a complete kitchen which came in handy as we had a big meal on her birthday which was partially catered but that required some oven and stove top warming. The inn keepers are delightful and helpful and they provide a delectable breakfast every morning. There is more food available than you will ever eat and that is saying a lot as I have three brothers who can eat you out of house and home. In addition to breakfast, the inn keepers provide snacks, soft drinks and wine and there is an afternoon baked treat offering that is made daily. The pool is heated and the lounge area around the pool is comfortable and sunny. The Cottage Suite front the pool area and has, as has the Pineapple Suite, its own sitting area with a table and several chairs. My mother stayed in the Cottage and loved watching the grand kids play in the pool while sitting at her porch table. There were two 80 year old women with us and there were no accessibility issues at all as most of the inn is accessible on the ground floor or by climbing, at most, three steps. The city of Lake Worth is quaint and picturesque and the dining, wining and cafe opportunities abound. The beach is a short walk over the bridge and the inn will provide you beach chairs and beach towels if you request them. The Palm Beaches are also a short 10-15 minute drive away and we all enjoyed our shopping and people watching there. This inn would be perfect for any kind of reunion and for a business retreat and though the inn does not normally allow children, if you rent the entire inn, they will accommodate kids as well (this is what we did as we had three children in our party). Great inn in a great location with many activities and options for fun and outings. read more

Wow! I cannot say enough good things about this bed and breakfast. The location is great - just a 20-minute drive to the amphitheater where we frequently attend concerts! Chet and his wife were extremely friendly and made us feel like we were home. The Mango French Toast for breakfast was delicious!!! Our room (Hibiscus Room) was the perfect size for my husband and I. The pool was inviting, although we didn't have enough time to enjoy it (next time). Free wine, bottled water in the room and coffee and tea all day. This is a B&B worth visiting! It is a place to relax. The pool and grounds are well kept. Lushly landscaped yard with water fountains. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruits, homemade sconces & breads, yogurt, etc. One day we were served Belgium waffles with strawberries & the next day was a frittata for the main breakfast entrées. The Mango Inn could not be a more beautiful & hospitable place! Steps from Lake Avenue (the main shopping drag in Lake Worth), an easy walk from the beach. The grounds are green & heavenly, with towering bamboo, palms, and, yes, 2 mango trees. There's a pool in the back; I did my work with my feet in its warm blue water. The owners make different breakfasts (mango French toast, cheddar cheese & green chili eggs) every day, and there are always fresh cookies, coffee, wine in the fridge. The rooms are comfortable, with eyelet sheets and fresh towels and every amenity seen to. I travel 300 out of 365 days of the year, and the Mango Inn is a slice of heaven. read more

Great find in the West Palm Beach area. No, it's not West Palm Beach but it's also not $500 a night! Lake Worth is not the hoity toity area but it was a nice area, walking distance to shops and restaurants and less than a mile to the ocean. The rooms aren't large but clean, comfortable, with nice linens. We had a bit of Squeaky heavy feet above us our first night but on a whole it was quiet and the rooms were laid out nicely for privacy. We were on the main level overlooking the lovely little pool. They provide a hot breakfast, along with pastries and fruit and Deb prepared a breakfast casserole that was gluten free to accommodate my dietary restrictions day 1. Although she forgot day two there was plenty of options to keep me happy. We B&B a lot, preferring the quaintness and personalized service. Deb was quick to ask our plans and made recommendations based on our interests. We would definitely go back. read more

While the rooms were clean enough, the inn keeper was LOUD and intrusive as we were trying to have a quiet stay. The 'pool' while not really a pool was dirty and seemed to not be working. The other guests seemed a little rough around the edges and more likely to stay at a motel, but I suppose they were winging it. I would not recommend Mango Inn unless you want to be give sub standard fare and a noisy atmosphere. There are better places to stay. read more
