I visited the store on Sunday, July 6th, with my two young children. After we exited, my 2-year-old son unexpectedly ran back inside toward the jewelry section, attracted by the shiny displays. As I followed him to bring him back, a male security guard (short, with black hair) suddenly began yelling at me, calling me an "irresponsible mother" in a very loud and aggressive tone.
He then started to follow us in an intimidating manner, continuing to shout the same insult. His behavior was so aggressive that I became genuinely afraid for the safety of my children. At one point, another customer noticed what was happening and asked if I needed help. She even tried to intervene, but the security guard persisted with his aggressive conduct.
He did not speak English, and while my French is still basic, I could understand enough to know he was being verbally offensive. I wanted to report the incident to a manager, but I was honestly too scared he might harm my children if I stayed any longer.
This experience was extremely upsetting, and I strongly urge the store to review the behavior and training of its security personnel. No parent should feel afraid for their children's safety while simply shopping. read more
